The guild wouldn’t die, because the core group comes back next tier. I’ve personally seen it happen.

I don’t understand this logic at all. Either the core is too small to matter, or the core is large enough that the group falls apart?
If its too small to matter, the roster will continue without them and be bitter about the loss of gear. Likely the core will be removed.
If it’s too big, then they’ll just replace the couple of poor unfortunates when they do raiding next tier.
Neither of those things factor in favorably to ML.
It’s just so obvious you are beating a dead horse. You have no chance at changing anything, you’re just blowing hot air.

OK, i’ve re-read my post you linked twice and don’t see the term “real raiders” used there even once.
So since you promised a post of mine where I did, I’m still waiting.
Some of them do want slaves that mindlessly follow directions. Just don’t have desire to be controlled that much during my free time.
Cross server trials for CE guilds are not common.

Yeap, it requires a lot more effort on our parts these days, but at least we aren’t plagued with the stream of failures trying to use us for their AOTC then ditch.

i dont raid, and i dont care if the high level raid guilds get to use ML. it doesnt affect me one iota, so if you guys want it for your guild runs, more power to you, i am happy with my PL in the LFR stuff i do
i think the best compromise is to have the toggle for guild runs so you have the choice to use it or not. and people have the choice to raid with it on or not.
LFR was always personal loot, as for the toggle for guild runs, it was like that before too.
You had to be at least 80% guild to use master loot. If Blizzard had bumped that to 100% that would be one thing, annoying but no big deal.
Maybe it’s a faction difference, but I see groups for them all the time in group finder.
So, instead, you want Master Loot so new recruits can sit and spin while your inner circle get fat off their hard work?
