Personal Loot Abuse

And next tier, when Shadowlands hits, we’ll be a progression raiding guild again.

Somehow I don’t think the title necessarily has to be something you have to keep checking out like a cheap movie rental store. If those even still exist lol.

Correct, you will be progressing again.

And I don’t think anyone was using the term as anything other than an example of when loot matters. Didn’t seem to me like he was trying to force your raiding team into a certain title, just that he was using the term progression raiding to describe a team that still could use gear to progress. Since you hit your goals early, that doesn’t describe your guild in that context.

So organized raiding to you is taking loot from other people? Okay gotcha glad you admit that’s all you want.

I don’t need to try and interpret what he already said to my face.

Okay boss.

Loot still makes things easier even once you’ve beaten the tier. For some bosses, subsequent kills can still take a few wipes even when you’ve killed them before.

How much does PL slow down progression raiding? Can it be quantified? Is a mountain being made out of a molehill, or is it a huge roadblock? I mean, world firsts still happen… progression still happens… and the removal of ML applies to every guild equally, so is the issue ultimately that PL is just one more instance of “randomness” being added to the game?

no, organized raiding is understanding that the raid is more important not your individual desire to get an item. so raiders that organized raid don’t look at it as “loot being stripped away from me!!11!!!”, they look at it as the loot belongs to the raid and where it goes is good for the team.

Of course, but loot in that situation cannot be the difference between progressing or not because you’re already done progressing… which was his point

I’ll just slide this in here.

Directly pointing out personal attacks is not a victim complex lmao you’re taking a legitimate point and putting a victims spin on it. I put no spin on anything you said because they were direct personal attacks.

do you know what this means?

if you don’t, that could explain why you’re upset.

You see the irony in your explanation. You claim loot doesn’t matter and now here you claiming you want ML back because loot matters to the raid. Lmao

Loot doesn’t matter to the individual

Have you never done any sort of team activity before? Why do you have such a hard time separating your individual needs from the team?

No, it just means the difference between Ny’alotha taking 1 day to clear as opposed to 2.

He doesn’t, I saw a funny description of this behavior in another thread. Contrarian karen.

The game is more important than your individual desire to dictate how loot works. It’s the same thing. You are the selfish entitled one here.

I raid for loot because it helps me with more than just raiding. I like to acquire gear to PvP, do WQs faster, and so forth.

Of course that’s not my sole motivation, but gearing does matter on an individual basis.

You seem to think people are asking for master loot pre mythic level

Of course I have and it does matter. You think anybody would be raiding for free?

Get off the soap box, other people loot or rolls don’t belong to you.

Again, sure. That can be true. But that doesn’t change the point about progression raiding vs farm because that isn’t progression.

hmm… this oncessant need to cheerlead eachother. Almost like you guys are trying to team up. If only you could apply that thought process to a raid team and you might get somewhere!
