CE raiding is still going on, and cross server trials are common, which preclude joining the guild.

You don’t think heroic raiders are real progression raiders, even if a guild is in fact progressing on heroic, as stated here.

He’s saying that specifically to a team that already has it cleared?? Reclearing content is no longer progression
It was progression until we eventually cleared it. My point is that you can be a heroic progression guild. You could even be a normal progression guild.

Yes, and once it was cleared it stopped being progression and started being farm. Heroic quickly becomes outscaled with item level so you hit farm far quicker.

Depends on the guild. We’re all-inclusive and we don’t just kick people for struggling. So it does take us longer. Doesn’t make it less fun and fulfilling though.
Just as you are all similarly aggressive against organized raiding. Doesn’t mean I’m dumb enough to pretend you’re all the same person
I think he’s got the same idea of progression that we do, I think only Tewa believes it only applies to the first guilds to clear every tier.
I’m not against organize raiding nice projection there. I am against people dictating what other people should and shouldn’t get. Big Difference.
Hey that’s your guilds choice, we choose not to waste the 19 other players time that show up to raid and say “well we have a few people sick today and only got 19 people so sorry it’s cancelled” and lose a weeks progression.
Life happens, people fall ill, people have other commitments, I’m sorry but if I was in your guild and someone was sick out of the 20 and they said “yeah no were cancelling raiding till Joe recovers from cancer…” yeah that’s just stupid…

It saddens me a bit because in LFR threads, these are the same folks who want us to come out of our shells, find guilds, and join normal+ progression raiding.
And then when we do, when we finally build up the courage to actually do so, suddenly that doesn’t count either and we’re still not “real raiders”.
We just can’t win.
I feel you. At that point they’re just trying to be exclusive to invalidate anything else we’ve said. NBD to just ignore it.

You guys are battling over the definition of progression raiding and not looking at it properly.
Not “progression raiding” is not the same as not being a real raiding guild. If you’re on farm, you’re on farm.
What Tewa said in that quote was,
If you’ve already beaten Heroic, and relatively early in the tier, then you’re certainly capable of moving past that. Heroic is not challenging to you
he is saying it relative to your group. When you begin farm very early on, there is no more progression to be done… so you are no longer a progression raiding guild, you are a farming guild.
that just isn’t at all what happened. quit the victim complex.
It’s not “abuse”. It’s simply an issue with you vetting them and discovering they were a bad choice. This happens. Not every person you recruit will work out. You just have to accept that is a reality. Just like not every person employed for a job is actually competent or qualified.
