I know hundreds of raiders that have been in different guilds. Horror stories come out quickly and spread quickly. You’d have a lot more evidence to back your argument if it was as rampant as you thought.
Instead, you have to go on the whims of GD posters “assuring us” they all lost loot to the GM’s girlfriend
I had a raid member in swtor miss because she was in labour at the time of our raid. Idiots complained about her and wanted her kicked. SMH
Whew. Talk about entitlement. It’s no wonder people raid with you for a week in a lockout they’re stuck with then leave.

Im pretty sure he focuses on the MUCH larger demographic of heroic/early mythic boss type guilds than CE pushers.
I’ve been a part of a mythic recruiting discord for over 4 years with thousands of other guilds. Trials was brought up multiple times and everyone had pretty much the same answer. You deep dive into their logs, before they join, and the “trial” is basically a personality test to see if they mesh with the other members, which is not usually done on progression bosses. If they mesh, and you know they are good because of logs, then they get loot the same as anyone else in the guild on their first progression boss.
in the application process, “why are you leaving your current guild” is almost ALWAYS asked

stuff like this continues to solidify how so far out of touch most GD posters are with raiding.
For people who want CE, yes. Nobody wants upgrades to be wasted, and nobody has time for drama. We just want the loot to go to whoever it’s the biggest upgrade for. And this is very easy to do with sims. You can take the human element completely out of it, which pretty much every guild does at this level.
Whatever you only can assume generics about thousands of guilds. You can’t possibly know the inter workings of all those guilds.
Bad guild management spreads like wildfire man. It’s almost impossible to run a guild like garbage without people finding out about it.
If you ever push for CE you’ll get it.
I am never going to push for CE, I don’t have 20 dedicated friends.

You are one of the very reasons I dislike corrupt guilds. You use shame, manipulation and fear tactic’s to get soft spoken introverts to question their own intuition and grant you multiple passes, lea way for oopses and 2nd chances when you deserve none.
Frankly if your pushing that hard, more then likely you ARE skimming off the top.
There is no recruiting going on my server. We don’t even have 1 12/12 M guild.
There’s too much loot in contemporary raids. When 2 items dropped for 40 people letting guilds distribute loot made sense. Nowadays half the raid gets loot and apparently Blizz doesn’t want you decking out your tanks in one run.
