Well, just wait for next Tuesday, when 8.1 actually arrives
Nobody said that they shouldnât be rewarded for doing the content they like to do.
People think they shouldnât be rewarded with Heroic/Mythic level raid loot for doing content that rewards failure and/or is impossible to lose.
There is a difference.
Well whether one likes it or not, here is one thing I believe could be at play.
Back in the older days mechanics for a given encounter were often a bit easier. Nowadays, to keep up with all these boss mods (DBM, BigWigs, etc), and more modern interfaces, Blizzard has had to add in more mechanics. People donât feel like learning all that stuff. They didnât even feel like doing it when it was often far simpler in terms of mechanics. Also, mechanics matter more in lower level content like LFR so when people fail at it, it shows.
Because Iâm pointing out how what other people have has no affect in the other individual. Not the gear itself, now you are trolling or misunderstanding me. You said it affected you, I told you how something someone else has doesnât affect you, not the physical gear itself Varb because I know the actual gear affects your character. The argument that another persons drop affects you as in this case. Garbage items, and garbage azerite gear from this content isnât worth arguing over, and progression, the feeling of progression is broken in the game, that I am not debating.
Because blizzard wanted people to do it more than once. Why are you so concerned about blizzard wanting to keep people paying them ?
I guess, but Iâm going to say that leveling every expansion also had a hand in it as well.
You donât see a problem with the developers having to dangle disproportionate rewards to content because they know nobody will do it if they donât? Thatâs just bad game design.
If they did it based on effort then mythic raiders would get blues in normal and heroic raids because believe me the amount of âeffortâ it takes them to clear normal uldir is far far less than the majority of people who do LFR put into doing that content.
OP is correct in a way.
The game isnât very punishing in most of itâs content and does nothing to penalize poor play.
You can spam all the wrong abilities and the mob might do nothing more than tickle you.
Pulled 3 mobs? Donât worry youâre fine, no need to CC or play smart.
Is the timer for your Pizza going off? You can probably run and take it out of the oven quick before youâll be in too much trouble.
Like if monsters actually hit hard and forced players to ânot suckâ, people might actually start doing things the right way. Of course thereâd be a lot of noobs complaining that the game is too hard as well.
same thing as badges, there was no point in doing dungeons half through an expansion for anything but the badges because the actual gear that dropped there was useless and the dungeons were faceroll.
I like it this way, there is hard content in the game. World content should not be part of that.
Things actually worked that way for questing this expansion on some classes if you didnât waltz into the content with mythic raid gear.
OP HERE .
What needs to happen is all handout gear needs to be reduced in ilv peroidâŚ
The progression should be normal dungeons>heroic>Mythic0>emissary/warfront/assault>Lfr>Normal>Heroic>M+/Mythic raiding
ilv gear should not exceed or overlap the order listed above.
This would put progression back into the game. This would have the player self improve to âLevel Upâ and move on to the next level of content.
Just because a group is better at the game doesnât mean itâs less effort to kill a boss.
What isnât balanced because the hardest content you can complete is heroic raiding? And youâre mad that the only content you are able to complete gets rewarded for free⌠atleast you get the 1 380 peice a week from the M+ chest atleast? If you want better gear maybe you should improve at the game?
People getting 370s doesnât affect you besides the fact they are able to obtain the same ilvl gear as you who apparently worked so hard to get. Which I can understand your frustration I guess? Not really you just seem like a big baby too me. Whaaaa he got good item and I beat boss and got same item
I tried a heroic raid in bfa once. Not even knowing the fight I end up with this barthalias group, I got 200 ping. Figure the fight out in 2 wipes and am baffled because the group I am in is practally the special olympics but we downed it anyway in a few attempts. It wasnât that hard. Heroic raiding isnât hard.
Dude this is a video game, not a job. stop comparing IRL stuff with this.
How you play the game how you earn your gear, what do you do in the game is not of my business.
If you are a guildie? a friend, sure I would care.
Itâs never been accessible to all. Not everyone has reached gladiator in arenas or gotten their titles, not everyone reached Classic Naxx, BWL or even AQ40, those same people might not have done Black Temple or ICC and RS.
If you couldnât take the time to learn a fight, prepare for it and get better and improve, you didnât see that content. And thereâs nothing wrong with that, if everything is accessible and doable to everyone then thereâs nothing for the lower players to aspire to. Itâs just given to you.
If blizzard wanted people to keep playing the game they wouldnât have a game mode that lets you beat the game an hour after reaching max level. So you can throw that argument out of the window. They are trying to cash in on people who donât like the game enough to play it more than a few hours and then quit. They think they get this for free by offering harder versions of the raids. Theyâre wrong. The game has no integrity and a busted reward structure and this is bad. Iâm about 50% sure you think the level 1âs deserve their kill over gâhuun and should be rewarded with 1000 ilvl gear.
Maybe they should make gâhuun able to be killed by level 1âs in a raid. I think that demonstration would be valuable for someone like you. That is almost exactly the same thing as what LFR gâhuun currently is. Itâs the illusion of beating the game without progressing through it while praying that there are enough players who prefer repetition to progression to keep the game afloat. They can solve their own problems by offering progression instead of repetition. Play the expansion instead of the patch, etc. They wonât though because theyâre scared LFR players who are effectively bribed to play by over rewarding them will leave. Short term pain is needed for long term growth if they actually want more people playing the game.
If someone states that they are casual and only do LFR then why do they need 380 gear ??? they can still do LFR with much lower ilv and thus would be a little more engaging because they are scaled down.
In my experience the mobs werenât really difficult or challenging in any way (and we also lacked any sort of true group quests â they were all soloable)
Basically they just added more HP to monsters.
The monsters still hit like gimps, but due to higher HP take longer to kill.
They should scale the HP back ever so slightly, but actually make things hurt when they hit you.
On my alt-monk (mistweaver) I wasnât very geared and I could still pull 15 mobs at a time (levels 110-115) with Way of the Crane, and spam spinning crane kick until they all died (usually in about ~10 seconds). I donât care, I should never be able to pull that many mobs and live to tell the tale. The AI Difficulty/tuning is way too easy.
