Sometimes. Luck dictates the game now. Skill can’t beat out blind luck. I could see it
Two minutes crafting on my alt and I’m 330 the moment I cap a character.
So, no.
Scaling a challenge like the mage tower is a bad idea simply because the classes change. The challenge doesnt. The challenges were made to really test the class’ abilities. If an ability gets lost or altered too much, out of luck.
People think they shouldn’t be rewarded with Heroic/Mythic level raid loot for doing content that rewards failure and/or is impossible to lose.
If you are referring to warfronts, they are DESIGNED to cycle between factions.
That has nothing to do with heroic/mythic loot dropping. What?
Absolutely this. They don’t realize how ridiculous they are.
Really?
It took me a lot longer than that, seeing as you can only have one 355 trink and one 340 ring.
Letting gear trivialize the content really removes the idea of testing a classes ability. The mage tower towards the end of legion was a joke
The 370 is a one off only.
They added 340 craftable loot in the latest patch.
Your knowledge is outdated, mate.
I’m entitled to people getting 340+ guys.
That was more ior less due to the fact we had had three tiers of raiding and the mage tower was designed for Tomb gear, not Argus and ATBT.
Plus legendary upgrades, better artifact weapon power…
if anything the tower was a tier behind.
They know that you get only 1 370 or 385 piece from each cycle of the war front. How did you get the impression that they thought it was unlimited 370’s?
340 isnt raid level gear.
Are you having a stroke? Did you forget what you replied to?
My character I leveled up this week went from 233 ilvl at 120 to 334 ilvl within a few minutes of hitting max level due to crafted gear. It’s not expensive to do that either. The only drawback is that you can’t really benefit from warfront gear after you do this because you will have a 340 in every slot that you can get from warfronts.
There is hard content in the game, dude. Not everything has to be your arbitrary level of challenging.
Would it be cool if the world had difficulty levels and scaled rewards? Hell yeah.
But right now questing isn’t the place for that challenge. LFR isn’t the place for that challenge. The easy parts of the game aren’t there for you to find challenge if that’s what you’re looking for in your game.
Yet again, there IS challenging content. There also just happens to be people playing who don’t care to meet your standard when they’re playing a video game, and they’re not a new occurrence.
Or raiders can stop being huge babies and grow a pair? Over something that doesn’t effect them?
I still dont see an issue here.
In a week or so Uldir becomes old news and the new raid will have a new level of challenge for everyone…LFR doesnt affect you, it never has, it never will, it hasnt since launch.
Name a single engaging or rewarding thing about any recent LFR fight that doesn’t include the fact that it is easy, or drops loot.
