I have a better than basic understanding of how things are, at least in the US.
You can be a trans person in the US, and you will be protected by laws, just like any other minority group in the US.
If you want to walk down the street with a T-Shirt that says “I am trans”, well you can do that, and chances are nothing will happen to you. You can’t say the same for other parts of the world. Trans people are literally a protected class in the US.
So, yes I do know a thing or two about this, me having worked with trans people and having trans friends myself.
That I have to explain to you, that I know that up is up and down is down, seems a bit redundant and absurd.
