I greed on blues nobody needs like everyone else. At the end of the day your opinion doesn’t matter since I didn’t put a gun to your head and force you to take me as a tank. Like I said, if you wanna wait around and try to find one of the few warriors left who aren’t fully geared or pay another tank absolute peanuts for the hour time investment when he could be doing something else then good luck.
There is a surplus of DPS for dungeon runs, so yes if you want to ensure you have a tank you may have to pay or wait however long it takes. Or you could tank yourself.
Druids tanks are the least played class in the game and also extremely easy to gear, and paladin tanks are few and far between. But I hope you can make the tank shaman meme work my friend.
Druid tanks are pretty common, my best known tank is a druid tank. She does an amazing job.
Also I’ve seen plenty of perfectly good Shaman tanks. They can’t do raids well sure, but they can tank dungeons without a hitch.
I’ve seen shamans pull off dungeon runs tanking better than some warriors.
I will never pay a tank to do their job in a dungeon, if you don’t want to tank, don’t. I don’t care, but I’m not giving you extra because you think you deserve it for playing a tank.
This is the misguided attitude that leads to people not wanting to tank. Tanks charging for runs is providing a service, just like enchanters or alchemists do. You don’t need to pay a tank but people do for the convenience of it. If you feel offended because someone is being paid to tank instances for others then you can not pay tanks or you can roll a tank and provide the same service. I don’t understand why people are so upset about this, it’s probably just jealousy.
People who value money over their time get mad at people who think the opposite way. They don’t like sitting in lfg chat looking for a tank for an hour and blame supply and demand for their misfortune. That’s why it’s not enough for people who don’t pay for tanks to just not pay for them and be done with it, but they encourage other people to do certain things with their own money. lol
Yep, I almost always refuse to “run someone through” content. Get a group of people your level and run it the right way. Otherwise, you a ruining the game for yourself, and I don’t want to encourage such poor behavior.
Think whatever you want but it’s not going to stop people from paying to do instances if they really need a tank. Until more feral druids and warriors who don’t exclusively dps start popping up things aren’t going to change.
