Spend some easily achievable gold on flying at level cap.
I don’t understand why the devs got so cranky about it. It was an easy amount of gold to get (you got most of it just from the quests you did to level up. And it meant people were on the ground for some amount of time.
The renoun is so garbage. I’ve never been so uninterested in anything in the game before. I’m not emotionally invested in any of the reputations since they gated the storyline behind it. Made me check out.
I can tell I need some more coffee… because when I read that, my first thought was “Why is Tovi putting rollers on her cat? And did she manage to do it without having the cat become homicidal?”
Alright, let me spin you a yarn around the old days
Back when TBC first hit, and flying was announced it was a very expensive thing to buy
Sure, most people eventually managed to get the 800 to buy super slow flying, but the initial 5000 gold for fast flying was a pipe dream to many
It wasn’t like the release where everyone has gold cap on 17 characters through very legit means, people would grind level 60 ogres for 10 gold an hour and think it was great cash
So then wotlk came out and flying was needed for the end game, hence the 1k price tag you would get naturally through leveling
Then Cata was built around flying, hence the super cheap price tag
Then the WoD/Legion/BFA/SL came out and flying wasn’t needed at all, it was more of an after though, so they added requirements to get it instead of just letting people buy it as a luxury again like 280% flying
So guess we could go back to just buying the flight to the expansion, but it should be priced appropriately as a luxury again so like what 500k+ range for DF flying?
I can understand what you’re saying(I was there) but there have always been good ways to make gold and back then was no different, people were just very new to mmos and had awful internet.
What you’re saying isn’t applicable in this day and age and classic proves my point. Not only that, but that FACT that they introduced pathfinder as subs decline is telling that this was a decision driven by PROFIT, not game dev.
The thread that was titled “Customize your Blood Elf and New Druid Forms” and I read it as “Customize your Blood Elf with new Druid Forms” or something like that.
