Who cares? There was like one maybe 2. They were nothing special.
Flying in the game is much better than having something nobody cares about.

Judging from the 860 achievement Points, I am pretty sure he joined in DF.
LOL you dont even know the history of the game.
You can frame DF or Cata or positively or negatively depending on who you ask.
But NOBODY is claiming that these expansions had top tier leveling experiences or the best overworld content.
People did say that about WoD, Legion, and BFA tho.
People are, and were, wrong.
Do you have statistical data somewhere backing that statement? I remember MOST people were at 80 while I was still struggling to get there.
Iām absolutely right.
Your average online player was NOT max level until wotlk.
Most players were still running around azeroth when TBC came out.
LOL people did NOT say that about WoD or BFA.
Your memory is correct. Wotlk is when the leveling exp curved was squished.
Okay maybe not BFA (I wasnāt paying attention at the time.)
But I definetely remember people saying it about WoD.
And when I personally played through BFA I thought itās leveling was noticeably better than DF or TWW.
I will say that Shadowlands restricted flying and still had garbage leveling. So thereās that.
If it was squished then more people hit max just fine, which contradicts your comment about not many people hitting max. Now I am thinking you are just getting a bit defensive cause you got called out. Might want to have facts and proof before spouting off about an expansion you did not play in. Just sayin.
HAhahahaā¦ youre So wrong
Ok, now I know you are trolling. It took me 18 months in BFA to unlock pathfinder and allied races. It took me 2 weeks in TWW.
No? Iām not being defensive.
Itās just absolutely true that hitting max in TBC was still pretty rare. Iām sure near the end of TBC it was becoming increasingly less rare. Naturally.
If it was squished then more people hit max just fine
This is just an incorrect premise. They couldāve lowered the exp curve because otherwise 70 to 80 would take a really long time.
Iām confused now.
Iām the one in favor of restricting flying. So yes I acknowledge that BFA pathfinder took longer.
wtf are you talking about?
Noticeably better is a matter of perspective. Just cause some people like to do things the hard way and āearnā something in a VIDEO GAME of all things, it speaks volumes about your level of delusion on the topic. If you mean the pacing was better to make the content last longer, then you are correct. Everything took longer to do in BfA than TWW, but ask how many people prefer TWW to BfA and I can promise the majority would be voting from their new Earthen characters. Wrath was greatā¦ at the time. But all of the QoL changes since DF have made WoW great again.
Iām just so glad to have flying at all at the beginning. Regardless of how anyone feels about dragonriding, this is a big step forward from the time-gated reputation grinds we had in WoD-BfA.
I do sympathize with people who do not enjoy or are incapable of dragonriding, but even those players have it sooo much easier than we used to. This is a big win, imo.
So which was it? Did it take a long time and hardly anyone was max level? Or was it squished and everyone was 80? Iām just trying to follow your āclaimsā.
Your average online player had a bunch of alts when WotLK hit.
100%.
so much progress in the game.
More soloable content for casuals who hate dealing with the obnoxioās in this gameā¦Delves and Follower Dungeons were top notch additions to the game.
Skyriding and Ion and Co. actually making content with flight in mindā¦excellent features added.
Removing the requirement for at least some flight, and having it open up on day oneā¦EXCELLENT changes to the game.
