Pathfinder deal with it

Do you reach level cap or big rep gains by doing pet battles or gathering? And to even do those you need to explore. Lol come on man.

Not everyone goes out of their way to grind rep at level cap as their primary, or secondary activity or even on the side. Actually that is not what most players do at level cap. That is why PF is bad game design.

Then if its boring sucks for you. Getting glad pvp ranks might be boring for pve people but if they like glad mounta should they spam the forums demanding mythic end bosses drop them?

“Quests” is covered by the storyline requirements, not world quests. Clearly, tacking WQ requirements on top is Blizz double-dipping to push WQ completion on more players. It really doesn’t fit the Pathfinder… narrative?

If you sang the “one of these things is not like the others” at Pathfinder, the WQ achieve would be the one that lights up.

But honestly, I don’t think we’d ever get the amount of player support needed to push something so small out of their formula. Especially when “you don’t get to fly anyway for over a year!” is still part of the Patchfinder cycle.

You have an achievement that says you have completed 10,000 daily quests.

I levelled one of my priests in MoP ENTIRELY on world pet battles once I realised they gave XP. And yes, you have to explore for BOTH pet and mat farming!

Browsing people’s achievements page is quickly becoming the Godwin’s Law of GD. What is this even supposed to imply!?

Because it was more fun to do all that stuff when you could fly back in earlier expansions. Not sure why people like you refuse to acknowledge this.

The anti flier, revisionist history people really need to stop… This isnt a CNN application form for how much false information you can push…

Daily quests provide rep and are repeatable content for max level characters (primarily). They sure have done a lot of them for someone claiming it’s bad game design.

Please note that there are separate achievements for world quests.

World quests ARE dailies. They were the literal replacement mechanic. And how does “you did the thing” invalidate “most people don’t do the thing”?

Wow, I just set myself up for a serious “yo mama” joke, but I’ll leave that as an exercise for the reader. XD

The threads will keep coming until the devs change it and give us flight back at max level like many other xpacs.

the complaining will continue until THEY change.

it is not laziness on my part to want flight. That is the style of gameplay I enjoy.

Spite is the ONLY reason devs have it still in the game for old xpacs and one of them wants to continue it in new xpacs.

Ok, not against flying. Juat saying if you want it earn it. The past is the past.

Even back then you had to buy it. Should broke players get free flying in that case?

They are separate achievements on the list.

This is like a rabbit hole where you’re advocating for that player’s right to advocate for “other players” right to be annoyed at content they themselves seem to do quite a bit of. .

Where is this daily quest achievement?

That’s naive.

The point of pathfinder is to slowly ween players off from wanting flight. There are already people defending pathfinder; whom started playing in Legion, and have no idea what we had prior to WoD.

Pathfinder is punishment for daring to challenge Blizzard’s vision for the game going forward.

Blizzard is counting the years before they can go back to making 2D zones like Silvermoon to save time and money.

Exactly. This is exactly why I’m pointing out the daily quest achievement. It’s not part of pathfinder. At all.

If they were honest when they said that these rep grinds were so terrible, they wouldn’t be doing 10,000+ repeatable rep grind daily quests.

They can’t claim they are being forced to do world quests for pathfinder when they do or did daily quests which have nothing to do with flying.

If anything blizzard did was worth experiencing on the ground 100% It wouldn’t be so much of a big deal, However they keep pumping out boring half asked world quests and questing zones that really ought to be avoidable with flying.

Have you actually read the criticism? No one says it’s hard. It’s tedious and too long, and some of the requirements just don’t make sense.

They should make it more engaging then, instead of an annoying snoozefest.

I’m sure what the argument is here.

Just because one has completed a lot of dailies doesn’t mean they don’t get to object to how world quests and the associated reputation grinds are designed now.

Uncommon opinion

Flying should be incredibly hard to get

About on point to having a 310 mount in BC
