What is the deal with this lazy and entitled attitude anti path people display. Just stop and play the damn game if you wanna fly. Its really not hard to get rev with all these reps.
I mean, would it be better if part 2 was available in launch?
Regardless just be happy you have the ability to still get flying. Back in WoD they were still debating of even bringing back flying before they introduced the first ever path.

I don’t mind Pathfinder, because I don’t have to do it, and I don’t because I don’t want to lol.
However, by the time you complete the meta achievement, you’ve already done everything that flying would have been useful for.
I just don’t see what flying has to do with how much the Proudmoores like me, or how much of a zone I’ve walked across, it’s just really arbitrary to have a chore list every expansion that is meaningless in the context of the story.
The whole point of pathfinder is that blizzard wants you to experience all those things on the ground to get the “full experience” of it. Then once you’re done you can fly and skip it since its “old”.
I mean most games have similar"skipping" mechanics once you have completed a plethora of game content. Pathfinder is no different.
So everyone against pathfinder is a lazy entitled person who doesn’t play the game? Try reading the book instead of just looking at the cover. A lot of people who post criticism about pathfinder are people who have done pathfinder themselves.
I have no problems with the farming reps - it’s the hard time-gate where you can’t fly until close to a year after the expansion is released. And let’s not forget that in Legion that after 8 months of not flying, we got to fly, and then were sent to Argus 5 months later… where you couldn’t fly again for the entire expansion.

No, in WoD it was a Hot debate amongst blizz. Why do you think Draenor was designed with flying in mind. Other wise we’d have another Eversong woods, classic EK and Kalimdor situation before enabling flying mid expansion.
The reason given OVER AND OVER for flight taking so long to implement was because Draenor was NOT designed with flight in mind and they had to rebuild the skybox from the ground up to allow it!
Like, do you have a bullet list of lies & disinformation you’re supposed to be spreading?
Which is why it makes a lot more sense to have Pathfinder Part 1 unlock flight in the launch zones. Holding it off for months when the player has experienced all of this is fairly insensible.
Rebuilding the skybox is not the same as rebuilding terrain and buildings my dude…
And btw the “not clicking the endless trash of anti path threads” doesnt help when the majority of new posts i see when i scroll is the same boohoo, whiney crap over and over again. Its flooding the forums which is just as bad.
Incorrect. The WoD launch zones were 100% “flight ready” at launch. You could use the feather and a glider and fly over everything and see there was no missing geometry or textures. There was nothing to “rebuild”.
Flight in WoD was added once the Tanaan Jungle zone was finished.
