Pathfinder? Again? Lession not learned

Yeah, I think that’s what they might end up doing.

Then why even freaking bring it up?

Again, blizzard will not change their mind with pathfinder.

I am about 90% done with pathfinder. you usually get most of it done through leveling throughout the zone but sadly alot people used LFD/BG for leveling. It sad that people cannot accept it and complaint on the forums thinking that blizzard will caved.

BlizZard said no flying forever in WoD and they changed their mind. They also said the ripcord did not exist and changed their mind. And they also said that no class reworks during legion which they changed their mind on as well.

All that went out the window.

That is why feedback matters. Player feedback always matters.

For the most part your right they won’t change there mind on Pathfinder unfortunately is here to stay…but what’s really ticking a lot of people off is the renown requirement which they might get rid of

I feel for those players that play on alts. They are being forced into an unfair situation due to how they prefer to play and have fun.

I still have plenty to do on it, but the renown is easy since they increase the rep. Thankfully, it’s not like the reps in WoD. The saberon (sp?) rep took forever.

Yea I hop around a lot so I won’t get rank 15 with any renown that and not a fan of questing lol …it is what it is

It shows a huge disconnect frankly. Furthermore, I believe it causes a lot of players to question why even spend money on the BlizZard store if they are going to be this way?

No. Players that haven’t bought DF aren’t playing WoW. They aren’t here to quest, dungeon, raid, pvp, join guilds or anything that has really made WoW, WoW for the last 20 years. If they were actually interested in WoW, they’d be doing that because PF is almost a non-factor.

But they aren’t. For their own reasons. I understand, feedback that doesn’t match what you want is bad. But sorry, I’m tired of watching blizzard cave to vocal minorities who want to raid log, lobby pvp or alt army afk in their garrisons to the continued detriment of the rest of the game.

Yes, I also like to ignore things until they are set in stone and can’t be changed. Then I yell and scream about it!

Puts pants on head

I could live with it if they removed or lowered the renown requirement. That is a ridiculous grind for a slower form of flying than what they gave out for free and just feels like a slap in the face to the players like me who need normal flying and will struggle getting it the most.

The reason they cave is because they turn out to be more than a minority and its detrimental to their game. The Modus Oporani is as follows.

    • Blizzard: We are doing thing A
    • A large number of people: That sounds bad dont do that.
    • Sycophants: We have to wait and see.
    • Blizzard: You will love it!
    • The large number of people: We won’t!
    • Blizzard does the thing
    • Large number of people: Complain
    • Sycophant: crickets
    • Blizzard: crickets
    • Large number of people: cancels subs
    • Blizzard: We are going to change it, dont worry we are listening and will listen going forward. Look we have created the community forum.
    • Community forum: DURRRR MOUNT ACHIEVMENT GRIPE drools
    • Goto step 1.

Yes.

They can still do everything they did before DF in the 90% of the game that was available before last November. And they can still fly there.

We’ve established earlier today that you don’t all of that stuff, either. You pick and choose what you want to do and ignore the bits you aren’t interested in, just like we all do.

If it’s “almost a non-factor,” that probably means it’s unnecessary.

Your feedback often launches with “Here’s my opinion and anyone who doesn’t agree with me must be a cheater.” You’re usually 100% intellectually dishonest from the get-go. That’s why your feedback is “bad.”

I have zero interest in your self-appointed quest to save this game from other players who do things you of which you don’t approve, or whose activities don’t match whatever self-imposed set of rules you think should apply.

And it is working great. I am so glad that they “listened.” Everyone loves WoD 2.0, I mean DF. No one is bored and the game is definitely not empty.

You also forgot several steps. Most notably listening to a click bait streamer, that is being paid to promote other games, to know what to complain about.

That is interesting. Pretty sure I do all of that, on multiple characters. Because I enjoy playing WoW. Would I play more, if things like mage tower, visions, class halls or the artifact were still in the game? Absolutely.

But we don’t get nice things. Little Jimmy on his toaster from 199,7 can only play upside down, every third Thursday of the crescent moon so there can’t be anything added he might miss or can’t do.

No mate, sorry. These same dudes have been complaining about PF since WoD. Dragon riding answered 99% of those complaints. So now, it’s shifted to disabilities and new players.

If it’s disabilities, suggest feedback to improve the gameplay so that we can all enjoy the improvements.

New players? The content can’t be boring if they’ve never seen it.

So yeah, it really only leaves botting for people to be this upset over static flying.

I get it, I know what an echo chamber is. Feedback you like is wonderful and great, feedback you don’t is bad and mean.

You missed the point. They dont listen. It isnt til months to a year later they change things to be decent. Which is why the .3 patch is usually the best patch. Its when they just give everyone what they want.

No, I understand. WoD tanked. But that 1-2 million die hard WoD players really want it back. And have spent all of Legion, BFA and SL doing their upmost to get anything and everything Blizzard tried to innovate removed to make it happen.

And we are all supposed to sit and pretend that DF is doing great. That somehow, some way WoD 2.0 will be different.

This is largely true, but those are some of the people that wouldn’t care about what kind of flying they can/cannot use.

If you are diehard about just queuing, then you do exactly as you described and just sit in a city.

If you like to do open world activities in between queues, in DF, at least you have dragonflight. Pathfinder was a bigger deal before then.

:point_up_2:t3::point_up_2:t3::point_up_2:t3::point_up_2:t3::point_up_2:t3:

Blizzard changes their mind all the time. Do you not remember “if you want to play high elves, the horde is waiting for you.” Then he turns around and gives velves cosmetic options that he said he wasn’t going to give them.

Or the gigantic wall of no for classic servers and now we’ve had three different eras of classic servers.

Or, Ion saying we won’t have flying going forward but after a massive backlash he back pedals and gives us Pathfinder?

They do, on occasion, listen to feedback so why are guys pretending they don’t?

Again, I still can’t figure out why you guys care if we ask for Pathfinders removal or nerf. It’s very clear that you all prefer dragon riding so this change will affect you in no way.

I think all of you are purposely avoiding this question because you don’t have an answer.
