Bad take? Players don’t agree what they want. More often than not players have completely opposite opinions.
Yet. But like mage tower, visions, torgh, brawler’s guild, 5v5 arena, ap, etc. This is the start. It will eventually get removed like everything else.
The player base will continue to shrink because wow hasn’t meaningfully changed in years. Players will ask why and blame the devs. Willfully ignoring all the things they have tried and players demanded be removed.
This is correct. They are too elaborate. They aren’t better yet, but could be. With suggestions on how to improve them. But, like dragon flying, some people have complained and will get them nerfed into being nothing again.
Instead of suggesting improvements that would keep them fun and interesting for most people. Like they did with mage tower. Visions. Torg. Brawler’s guild. AP/ WQs. Pvp assaults. Islands. Warfronts. PvP zones.
I think they are. When someone gets so mad to start personally insulting you instead of having a debate, nothing enrages them more than pretending they don’t exist.
One of the regulars on here got so irritated that I wouldn’t respond to them anymore that they switched forum avatars just to squawk at me.

The main rub for me is two fold.
First, at no point was flying required to complete any part of the story in previous expansions. You can’t even complete the second hour of the main story of Dragonflight without at least a basic demonstration of DR capabilities.
Second, PF in earlier expansions gave the only means of self-directed flight. There wasn’t an alternative that was already available by the time PF was obtainable. DR, for those willing and able to use it, is a complete alternative to what PF will unlock. I’ll likely get PF by happenstance, but even when I do it won’t stop me from DRing in the slightest, and many players feel the same. But for those who can’t or won’t DR, PF is crucially important for experiencing Dragonflight. There is a division between those that get noticable value from PF and those that don’t, and by in large, the ones that do are also likely to be furthest behind on PF going into 10.2.

There has to come a time when you realize that its just a waste of time.
My job isnt to convince anyone of anything.
Everyone is free to believe whatever they have in their mind to believe.
Its just like religion. I have mine. And its NOT my job to force it onto anyone else.

Projection is pretty near always the root of the issue when people come out swinging, attacking, insulting, demeaning others, especially lesser abled targets like disabled and children.
They build up their own battered self esteem on the backs of others.
I dont get paid enough to offer therapy for it, lol.
So I choose to block it once I realize thats where we are.
