They haven’t put anything but cosmetics behind the renown wall all expansion. I don’t agree with their Pathfinder requirements but I’m not surprised. They had to find something they could limit with renown that players would actually care about (the story didn’t work because it sucks).

If you really want a shock, go to Korthia or ZM on a high populated server. You’ll be shocked how many 60’s there are out there. And when you talk to them, you find out they didn’t even bother buying DF. Mind boggling to me how many of these I have encountered.

Okay, preferences in flying aside, it is nobody’s job to cater to anyone’s disability but your own. That may sound harsh but that’s life.
Blizzard or any company cannot individually go through every costumers annoyances/disabilities/hardships and perfectly formulate a solution to each one.
That is entitled thinking.

If it is because they refuse to do any dragon riding, then rejoice, is no “dragon riding” requirement to finish PFndR.
Sure dragon riding will make it a lot easier, but its still doable without dragon riding if they put in the effort.

I’m behind the curve in DF, I am not going to fly in this content. Or Shadowlands content.
Not to mention it’s hard for any company to make a perfect solution for EVERY disability that could affect someone gaming.
I’d love for Blizzard to be able to do so but it’s just not the reality of today’s world.

How would you like them to finish questing that requires dragonriding that they can’t do, some WQS that require dragonriding to reach or even complete, etc?
Not everyone can or wants to rely on their friends. Not everywhere can be reached without dragonriding.
False. The MSQ cannot be completed without dragonriding.
No one’s asking for this. Just remove Pathfinder. There’s zero reason for it.

Oh yeah, Pathfinder is horrible. I still don’t understand why Blizzard insists on locking flying of any kind behind it. It’s just dumb to do.

I agree that having pathfinder as the sole reward of old flying is stupid. You truly are grinding for a downgrade. That doesn’t make sense.
But this whole ableist disability divide… Good god. That’s like what ten people? I’m sure most have adapted by now.

Name one quest that requires dragonriding that is part of the campaign or overall story of DF
The entire introduction chapter to dragonriding that requires you to dragonride through the rings in Waking Shores.
That’s where most with disabilities just got completely roadblocked.

I’d be ok if they wanted to make pathfinder a fos achievement for those of us who are able to meet the requirements. With maybe a mount reward. I would be able to meet them btw.
I am not ok with them making it a mandatory requirement to be able to fly with all mounts in the Dragon Isles. I’ve hit pathfinder for every expansion so far. I think it’s stupid and actually causes people to not want to play the game. It’s definitely a barrier for players who took a break, and I don’t blame them for this making them not want to come back. It’s definitely going to be an issue for new players also.

Its vindictive hate the devs hold towards the disabled and they foster that ableist atmosphere where they will FORCE DISABLED PLAYERS TO USE A FEATURE THAT MAKES THEM PHYSICALLY ILL TO EXPLORE THE WHOLE MAP!
And you try doing renown 15 FOR EVERY FACTION IN DF , ON FOOT, or CHOOSE TO BE SICK TO MAKE IT FASTER.
Why is blizzard punishing the disabled by telling us " no you don’t get to ride in 6 hours like us normal people, jump through hoops for us, it makes us laugh to see you vomit or so.doped out on meds you cant even fly straight "( in my case)
