I mean, most times I can at least see Ions point, even if I do think hes overreacting or being petulant.

They hand us flight in an hour of release.
That should have murdered the PF demon with extreme prejudice.
PF was SUPPOSEDLY about exploration. We all did that.
The only ones who havent are the few who stopped playing waiting for slow flight.
Likely lesser abled in whatever way.
This makes it LOOK as if Ion is literally targeting those lesser abled sorts with PF, lashing out at them for daring to take a break.
I mean, how else am I supposed to see it since the entirety of the rest of us have been flying since day one?
PF literally ONLY affects this small group.
And that includes new players who are also lesser abled.
A new player like me will get DRing day one and never look back.
Only a lesser abled NEW player is going to be looking at this RIDICULOUS PF requirement wondering why in gods name he now has to grind renown for a month to get the the cheap version of flight lmao.

BlizZArd can proclaim that DR is the future but it sure doesn’t look like it. The dev that designed it seemed hopeful. But what the dev fails to realize is that when you take away choices in a MMORPG nothing good comes of it. Or in other words make choice A easy to obtain while making choice B difficult and cumbersome.
Only areas where I have seen high praise of DR has been here, WoW reddit and MMO champ which are all controlled by BlizZard.
Outside of that there is no hype for DR.
I say good luck to the dev that designed DR because they are going to need it moving forward. That is all I will say…

enough evidence says they are having both going forward.
Static and dynamic flight that appears we will be able to swap between on at least the DRing enabled mounts.

Did I say we did work for DR? NO, I just pointed out that, for some of us, we did ZERO work for Pathfinder as well.
As far as trolling?
You are being the poster boy for such, posting on a level 10 warlock. All I am doing is providing a different perspective, one that says PF is only work if you see it as work. In essence I did ZERO work for DR and ZERO work for PF.
Also, I am one that wants both static and dynamic flight, my only argument with “DF being the future” as along the lines of “if they are giving us DR from the get go here on out, they might as well toss in static flight as well so that if you get one, you get both.”
They can say that all they want but reality is staring them in the face. Designing with a toggle in mind doesn’t make sense when you are going to gate TBC flying with PF.
What are they scared of? If TBC flying was competing with DR day one we know which most players would have picked.

Another reason why I wonder if this is the last expansion with PF, because if it is going to be a toggle, they need both right outside the gate, nothing else makes sense.
and when one thing is a key feature of an expansion, do you really want players choosing the alternative without giving it a fair shot? After DF, DR will not be a key feature and most players would likely choose Static or Dynamic flight based on:
- ability
- what they are doing at the time (if I am farming mats, I want static so I don’t overshoot or using up vigor I need to reach my over all destination)

If their disability prevents them from holding a button to go up, re-orienting towards their destination, then pressing (or holding) another button to go there, how do they use static flying?

I don’t have to have my neurological disorder deal with angles, the speed, remembering the buttons, the attempts to land, etc.
It took me all of beta and part of live to learn dragonriding with my disorder. Some aren’t so lucky.

I realize Im sounding like I have alzheimers here, but I still cant figure out the abject obsession of those here who have absolutely no vested interest in this topic outside of the desire to troll and bait for attention over a few players wanting normal flight, who have waited months for it, who are simply asking to do no more work than those who are obsessing now did for dragonriding.
This makes the same non sense that the Pathfinder thing itself is making lol.
Forcing lesser ableds to do put in a months worth of renown grinding to get slower flight while we all had the superior flight from hour one.
Then some come in attacking and insulting those players for waiting equality in treatment by not having to do any more work than that group did?

And sadly, some of us get labeled as trolls because we don’t agree with others 100%, like I want people to have the choice and, for the disabled, a way to get normal flight, especially if they keep pathfinder going forward, with a gold cost they can pay per character or similar. If they keep PF it should only be for account wide flight with maybe a mount as well.

We might understand what the issue are, but the issues we see are not the same ones you see.
You keep on pulling the “work for flight” card, when, for ones like me, even for PF, we don’t “work” for it, it comes naturally, yet you are fast to call me a troll when all I did was point out a different perspective.
PF is not work for me, it might be fore you and others, and since you blocked me you might have missed the idea that I am SUPPORTIVE of those that are disabled of having another way to get static flight.
Quite a few are not, but there are instances of someone being worth talking to, in order to find out where they really stand, but too many take the view of “you are not 100% on my side, so you are not worth talking to”.

I’m just looking forward to the forum threads of people complaining rares and events ending before they can get their because their slower normal flying can’t get them there in time to match those using Dragon Riding and then ask that normal flying speed be increase to match Dragon Riding flying speeds. Especially once Dragon Riding is made available in the old world zones.
