They just don’t want to do the work and they feel that entitled.
or be 1-2 expacs behind, as usual.
agree 100%
We don’t have to do anything in game but it is about enjoyment. It is not a big deal to you (or me speaking frankly) but for those that prefer regular flying this is a big deal. One in my opinion should not be locked behind a rep grind or pathfinder.
And yes those using regular flying will be gimping themselves depending on what they doing. If they are find with that choice who are we to judge?
I mean everyone has to make choices for themselves but they are choices
Inclined to agree…spite seems to fit the narrative at this point. Ego driven spite.
I honestly have spent time trying to figure out any real motivation that makes sense that is logical and reasonable, but …nothing
so in the past Ion SAID PF was so we’d explore the world before getting flight.
But now we HAVE explored the world and HAD flight from day one.
The old logic for having PF is GONE. Literally destroyed by Dragonriding.
I have to assume that this is spite, lashing out at our lesser abled fellow gamers who are the ONLY ones affected by pathfinder…the REST of us have had flight.
So what else could his motivations be since exploration is off the table after this long and having flight anyway?
I dont see any other LOGICAL options, personally
has nothing to do with it at all…pre WoD it just cost gold for flying but they wanted to remove flying in Wod and were being complete a-holes about not adding flying so after the community raging for months and months they finally said fine you want flying…do all this needless bs to get it…now we have to do pathfinding to get something they took away in the first place.
i can do the work but its not good or fun. if you saw my hands, you’d know why. and other people have neurological problems, the dragonriding mounts go too fast and it makes them dizzy, and so on.
I mean… If you think they’re specifically targeting people to be mean to them, I think you might have… I don’t know… lost the plot. That’s tin foil hat territory.
I don’t pretend to understand it either. But I don’t think the company is out to get anyone (maybe a single streamer). I chalk it up just being out of touch.
REMIND THAT POSTER…that he literally did ZERO ‘work’ for his dragonriding lmao.
Its funny how some have forgotten that quite obnoxiously large detail and pretend it aint so, lmao
REMIND THAT POSTER…that he literally did ZERO ‘work’ for his dragonriding
I say all of you who hate PF and hate the renown grinds, organize another mass exodus like the WoD one, and get them to reverse their plans again. Worked once, can work again!
I’d use Formerly-Known-As-Twitter for your social media outreach before Musk activates the paywall he announced. Go go go!
I was just toying with that idea. Unsub for a while and play SWTOR.
New galactic season is out anyways.

ugh…musk.
Im pretty conservative and even I liked Twitter before clownboy mucked it up so badly.
WQs refresh once in a blue moon, they are the main source rep outside the weeklies, it’s designed that way to slow your progression down intentionally, bad design yes but that’s how it’s always been even with daily quests, you also have bonus rep items that net you extra rep per WQ called contracts on top of the 24 hour factional rep bonus daily in the forgotten reach.
I don’t know if there’s enough people who like regular flying more to make that kind of impact. I could be wrong
this is going to get more prevalent as the median age playing the game, rises to the 60s and stuff starts malfunctioning (thats why people retire in their 60s, cause companies need people who arent malfunctioning). lol i dont wanna retire from wow. i’d just like it to be more player friendly.
I was counting on all the defenders of those who actually need OG flight, since they’re the most vocal in this discussion. Surely, they’d stand with the meek and quit in solidarity.
Okay, I’m done again. No more snark.
I don’t know if there’s enough people who like regular flying more to make that kind of impact.
My question is if that really is the case, why make the requirement for it so high?
If everyone truly loved DR so much and nobody would slow fly, why even lock it in the first place? Why not just allow it from the start?
I get that. but there are options in the meantime If they don’t change their mind. sure they will be slower… But nobody has to use dragon riding.
And unless people are truly willing to quit, they probably should get a head start now. By all means advocate but don’t shoot yourself in the foot
