Heh. I like that

  1. why is that poster in here trolling when this issue literally has no bearing on their game. Why are a few of them in here, to be frank. They serve no purpose to the discussion other than baiting and trolling from what I can see.

  2. Exactly.
the ‘POINT’ comes down to this one simple detail…DRAGONRIDING was gained in AN HOUR running the main questline. NORMAL FLIGHT has waited for MONTHS and now we find out that its NOT going to require that same HOUR of MAIN questline, but FAR FAR more.

Anyone that cant figure out #2 above is, in my opinion, just in the thread to troll for reactions.

Yes.

You can choose to see actions taken by people that don’t actually know each other as personal attacks if you like. To me it seems more reasonable to think that they’ve been using pathfinder to unlock flight for years and are just continuing that trend.

And that probably is it.

But considering we can already fly… Why? Yknow?

questioning it is fair. All the tangents may be less fair or reasonable

I prefer Dragonriding, but happy for those who are getting it.

You do know that there are all types.of different disabilities, right?

And there were never barriers to the game if you didn’t have flying— until now.

Well that’s just false.

The conceit of the discussion is that Dragonriding and Flying are distinct features.

I don’t really see the point of pathfinder other than to force returning players to stay subbed while they grind rep

They can’t even use the “We want you to explore” excuse because dragonriding exists.

Just seems like a money grab targeted at those who haven’t been subbed all expansion

what does that even mean

Ion wanted flying removed from the game in WoD. The players revolted, he lost the battle and he’s been punishing players ever since. You will never get regular flying without some ridiculous requirements until his a$$ is fired.

If you want regular flying, folks have to do what’s required. It’s been years now.

Let A = Flight, Let B = Dragon Riding

Players: B does not replace A because they are too different, we need A to be added because of all our problems with B.

Blizzard: Ok, we are now adding A into the game in the same manner that we have for years.

Players: But we already have B and B is the same as A so you may as well skip the normal process of attaining A because we already have B.

Eh, it’s just another reason to not drop cash on DF. Doesn’t mean I’m going to quit, still plenty of content I can fly in.

I don’t think anyone said they were the same… In fact most people consider old flying inferior… It would be perfectly reasonable in my opinion to question jumping through hoops for something inferior.

Get angry or make threats or lose your mind? No.

Specious assumption.

Bah, assumption based on a decade of that happening.

Asinine comparison.
For ‘years now’ we were all on the same playing field. we ALL did pathfinder to get any flight at all.
Now most of us got flight day 1, but those who cant handle DRing for whatever reason not only wait for many months for normal flight, but now are having to grind out renown for 6 groups.

Why am I even wasting my time explaining this to you?
you know exactly what the issue is here…all of you do. Youre just here trolling for reactions.
Should be actionable, to be honest

You can’t tell people what they can or can’t do, especially in the confines of the game that doesn’t solely consist of raiding or PvPing.

You do need fine motor skills to fly efficiently with DR over a keyboard, Normal flying less so thanks to the hover feature.

Throwing Normal flight being an unnecessary grind wall will just annoy people and turn them off to playing the game.
