This is what is going on for me. Any toon I could get on before (last night when the patch dropped) is showing as "character not found, but I got on my alt that I had not yet logged into. Now I’m afraid to log off of him, lol.

Add me to the list. Yesterday and today I have not been able to play. No characters on realms and when I do click on one of my realms It is a black screen. Then my toons show up. Then I try to log in with one and it says…No character found. Two days now.

Was in game playing fine until about 2 hours ago, now I too am among the afflicted.

One thing I’ve noticed. This is happening during busy server times. Last night I had this issue… then it just went away after prime hours. Again, it’s happening to me, again it’s prime hours. I’m starting to think their servers just can’t handle things and I’m being sacrificed because I’m not very deep into my 6 month paid time, and it’s not like I can walk away.

You might have a point there. I’ve still got plenty of time left, too, and I can’t get in at all while my brother (who pays monthly) has been on for a few hours now and has logged out and back in several times with no issue.

There isn’t a response because they’re still trying to figure out what the problem is. It’s most likely just too much for the servers to handle coupled with a few bugs from the changes they have to iron out. There’s a reason they’re going down for Maintenance tomorrow.

This sounds about right. I had this problem last night, was able to play perfectly fine for a bout an hour or two during the day, and now the same issue. I tried the workarounds people suggested (lower graphics or just wait) but no luck. I’m giving up till tomorrow. Good luck all.

Exact same here, too, and I’ve also paid up with a 6mo sub. I didn’t have this issue at all earlier either, and suddenly, peak hours…

In addition, on one login attempt I also got some Blizzard (non-addon) lua errors regarding GlueTooltip and Backdrop.lua.

All characters on Mannoroth server are Character Not Found. Also getting stuck at Retrieving Realm List, and my servers don’t show any characters on them when it does come up, Then the realm itself stalls while retrieving my characters.

Chiming in - all servers show as though I have no characters at all, if I manually select Stormrage I see all of my characters, but every single one of them gets the “character not found”. I was able to get on last night after maybe 30 mins of this, but it seems to be back.

Also paying for 6 month sub

Same, both servers i have characters on, do the exact same thing.
