This doesnt add nothing new, but my characters are in the same “Not Found” bus too. I’ll wait until all become stable.
I was able to log in fine and switched characters and relogged multiple times…UNTIL the BNET launcher client was updated.
Not sure that it’s the direct cause, but my years of experience working in QA tells me that it’s a good place to look for the problem, as this literally started for me immediately after this happend

I manually scrolled down the list to find my realms my characters are on. No number next to all the Realms I play on. When it does finally log in it it shows my character then tells me “Character not found.”

I’m in the same boat. Worked fine until the Bnet launcher update.
Having the same issues on Mal’ganis and Earthen Ring. My husband was able to get on his characters on the same servers but no luck for me.
So the hotfix broke it worse.

So, all of my characters are missing. From every single server I play or played on.

It looks like it’s in the process of being fixed. I closed and re-launched WoW once or twice.
I was sitting on the character list on one of my servers with the wrong race’s background and character name for a minute then it changed to the correct one and my characters were showing on the character select screen.
I wound up with the wrong race’s background because I had logged into my horde server, where the background was black and no characters were showing up at the time, then went back to my primary alliance server and the Nightborne background is what was showing on my alliance server before my characters showed up on the character select screen.
I went to the server select screen after that and my characters are showing up on that screen as well.
EDIT: I tried to log in and got a Character Not Found error. It’s better than it was but still not completely fixed.
EDIT2: Now that I’ve tried and failed to load a couple different characters, all my characters have disappeared from the character and server select screens.
Also having same issue. Noticed when the initial list of realms come up, there is also no indication of any of my characters on those realms as well.
Same here. Was able to log in and completed the Dark Iron Dwarf scenario to unlock them, now can’t log back in, and can’t make a DI Dwarf
I was okay until the battle.net update. I am experiencing the same issues as others:
-long load time for “Retrieving realm list” then it loads the list with none of my characters listed (but are available when I click on the servers - Stormrage, for instance)
- Character load is very slow, then says “Character not found”. Doesn’t seem to matter where the character was parked. Stormwind, Boralus, Garrison, Duskwood)
-Cannot create a new character, “Character creation timed out”
-Nightelf druid skin is pure black (this character), but my Demon Hunter’s texture seems fine.

I’m having the same issue. I got disconnected, couldn’t login to that toon because it still thought it was online. After a reboot I can’t login to any of my characters. Get a Character not Found error.
Doesn’t seem to be location based either. I VPNed into several different locations and still same problem. I have a lot of friends logged in and playing just fine though. weird.
Around 10pm EST I was finally able to find my characters. That lasted about an hour and a half and now they can’t be found again.
I give up.

Ya, me too. Unbelievably frustrating that I have an entire household playing this damn game (4 family members) in our game room and I’m the ONLY ONE sitting here dealing with this nonsense.
