i was so excited to play too ):
I could access my characters for about an hour and then the game couldnât find any of them.
I had the same problem till I logged on to a character on a different server then the original character was able to log in.

Logged onto a friends computer then back onto mine & it fixed it!!

My friends are online doing transmog runs right now, im the only one who cant log in due to this issue.
Itâs definitely not location based, my wife was able to get on one of her toons on her PC next to me. I gave up after 30+ attempts of âCharacter not foundâ.
Itâs the same thing every big patch, they donât have the server capacity to handle everyone logging in to check it out, and they wonât increase the capacity (even temporarily) because they donât need that much capacity after a week or two. Gotta save those dollars even if it pisses off your customers.

That worked for my fiance and I for a moment as well. But I canât get it to work again. Make sure you donât log out.
Its also not system/gpu based. I can log in on my system with my sonâs account, no problem. My account⌠Character not found. It also takes longer to load the charater/realm lists on mine.
All my characters are not found and character creation times out

What happened to Blizzard?
This is the same crap that happened with Diablo 3 back in 2012.
Like why even release the Pre-patch if you arenât able to let people play?
Do we get a refund for the time we were unable to play due to their screw up?

This worked for me, thank you so much I have been waiting for hours.
âCharacter not foundâ is now fixed for me. Approximately 4 1/2 hours after (pre) launch. Have had enough drama for one day, see you all tomorrow.
Iâve been trying since Maintenance ended and still no luck. I wonder if we will get compensated for our lost time since this is a paid service after all.
I got on then got a loading screen that just sat there with the blue bar filled.
Log into another character. That should solve it. Otherwise just exit afterwards and try again.
