Empowered renew is working, it just doesn’t work on any renews except the actual hardcast renew, and is therefore a terrible talent.
Edit:
Twinsight with Holy Priest is pretty bad, tbh.
I’ve reported a bug with it, where the main target often gets the 2 stack PoM instead of the 7 stack PoM.
But also it should PROBABLY get 2 extra stacks from Prayers of the Virtuous but it doesn’t right now.
I’m on the PTR now and both talents aren’t working.
My Renew is 161,517 over 15s with or without the talents.
Actually use it on a target dummy. It increases the healing. It does not update the tooltip.
Prismatic echoes does seem to just not work atm though.
Okay, I see now. Empowered Renew is working, but Prismatic Echoes isn’t.
Empowered Renew is pretty bad because it doesn’t work with Benediction or Lasting Words. Also, Holy Mending is terribly underscaled at 27k healing per PoM bounce with targets with Renew. Cosmic Ripples is way stronger then that talent.
Your build looks clean, being able to not worry about answered prayers / poms simplifies the build decisions considerable.
Will be very difficult to have an oracle build to compete with this.
Still not convinced on the prayer of healing being used at any time other than during apoth due to its mana cost.
Yeah, honestly a lot of the changes to holy are pretty disappointing to play with.
IMO the positives are holy words feel good and reset a lot faster, and PoH feels decent now with LW.
But Lasting Words feels terrible with renew still tuned so low. Oracle Twinsight is undertuned, bugged and not interacting with talents I’d expect it to (prayers of the virtuous). Holy Mending + Benediction is pretty terrible atm too, since holy mending is still waaaay undertuned even with that buff.
The main issue with the tree boils down to Light in the Darkness being flat out mandatory because of the new gameplay loop revolving around resetting your Holy Words faster and extending Apotheosis.
Losing our current tier set means that Flash Heal / Heal are taking a -20% throughput nerf so all that lost healing is supposed to be made up with our stronger Holy Word Serenity.
The build I linked above feels like it’s going to be the wombo build for raid because you’ll reset your Holy Words faster while benefiting from using Lightweaver w/ Heal or PoH on-top of Lightwell and Divine Image. Also, with faster Holy word resets it’s going to make Lightwell reset a lot faster to maybe 1.5 minutes.
Halo pops Voice of Harmony 3 times.
Geeze, everything’s turning up Milhouse for Archon.

Sanctify is going to reset even faster now. lol
As expected.
Weaving Lightweaver PoH/Heals will be the play for M+. And stronger Holy words.
This will be my build for M+ with current tuning. Maybe the pom talents can be moved but since they synergize with Divine Hymn they will come handy.
- Lightweaver for big Heals/PoH
- Lightwell for another cooldown to have since we are losing Divine Word (problematic talent path) and now I can rotate between Divine hymn - Lightwell - Apotheosis - Halo
- Divine image for just overall more hps and more dps
Might switch between Guardian Angel and Restitution + Afterlife depending on the key if I need a personal defensive.
My Disc M+ Build (Unlikely to play Holy in M+):
Actually a decent chunk of points that can be moved around, too. Borrowed Time and Pain and Suffering can be totally moved to different places, freeing up 4 points. The only talent in the final tier I think is necessary is Weal + Woe, so the aegis line can go anywhere too (but aegis is pretty strong).
For oracle my build is similar but i work TE and Words of the pious in there. Especially with a TE direct penance

I’m surprised you would dump mind bender or shadowfiend entirely. Where would you make up the lost healing?
Penance, Evangelism, Weal and Woe and premonition with a bit of direct healing.
Penance itself is a lot stronger with Oracle now. It got more damage, but it also sends out 3 bolts to an ally, all those bolts proc baseline contrition, and you get 7 stacks of weal and woe every penance cast regardless of if you’ve got harsh discipline now. This means your shields and followup smites are always buffed quite a bit. If you need to, you can now defensive penance and it’s pretty competitive healing because you still get 3 offensive bolts.
Evang is a very strong group heal now, as is uppies.
Also this (theoretically) will synergize a lot better with tier set because Divine Aegis is an absorb effect and penance casts will proc it.
You CAN run a void summoner build by dropping a couple of the points on the left and going deep into shadow side. Shadowform/void summoner doesn’t work with divine aegis anymore, though and with PTW being just SW:P now, you can’t really TE in shadowform because you just lack any spell to proc it. I think it’s kinda awkward and I I’ve gotten tired of the void summoner playstyle after several tiers of it though, so I want a break.

At this point I’d drop Pom skills fully and take chastise stun and symbol of hope.
I got details installed now.
Holy Word Serenity is an absolute monster now with Light in the Darkness. My average Serenity cast is 1.8mil with 3.6mil crits – which is half of somebody’s hp bar – and this is before you add in the Echo of Light bonus.
I’m very much expecting Blizz is going to be nerfing Holy’s hps because even -8% seems too low. lol
I hate having to choose between the two. I can’t imagine playing without guardian.
I think I’d drop litany for symbols, but I’ll have to find time next week to play around on the ptr to see how things feel.
Not being able to get light of the naru feels bad.
I am curious what kind of health pool we are looking at with the ilvl jump next season. 1.8m non crit is about what, 1/5 a tanks health now?
On the PTR max Mythic iLvl is +40 iLvls higher then currently so our stamina/primary stats going to increase by about 35-40%. Were also going to be net gaining about 8-10% total secondary stat.
Our health pools should be around 9mil. With tanks it varies a lot because some tanks are hp sponges and others are more mitigation focused.
Healers aren’t meant to solo heal tanks up though because our heals are more supplementary then anything.
