Well, there could be a lot of things we arent aware of. Maybe theyve had a lot of reports of scams. All we know is they dont want people boosting using twinks and thats a blizz thing at the end of the day.
I have toons locked in every expansion so i can que with friends as they level through said expansion. this stops me from playing with them unless i want to level from 1 with them which isnt an option because we have different schedules.

Gotta make sure those $60 120 boosts are in demand when added.

What about the next friend thats leveling through if i level my toon with the forst person? This way i can play with them as many times as they level through a certain bracket. I have many friends i have made over the last 14 years that dont play just the way i do. I have all my toons i want at this time at 115 or higher. Im not going to take however many hours it takes to get a toon to the level they are to have them log on and out level me while i am busy with something else.

i say good⌠and as far as the random queue part, theyâre probably only going in with a full group since theyâre there just for the honorless job.
So you group with a geared 110 or 111 that has prior expansion raid gear and legendaries and they take you to freehold or island expeditions and speed run you for xp. I can level someone in freehold from 110 to 120 in under 2 hours and all they have to do is follow along and loot. Islands take longer and you have to que for those.
Why is it good? How does this affect you?
I get bored and get on my twink demon hunter who i dont boost with anymore and que for random dungeons just to speed run them for people from time to time. Its fun for me and i know a lot of people appreciate being carried through a random dungeon or two. Most of the time the full group will random que with me for a while. I have leveled people all the way through just like that on a day when i have nothing better to do.

I mean I guess its a smart idea⌠But when I level with friends I grab a toon and just level with them. If there are 5 people in the whole game with over half a dozen toons dedicated to this repeat leveling like you I would be shocked. Its kind of a bad side effect for you I guess, but not on a large scale.
The good news is that zones scale now so even with a level gap you can still quest with people.
Aye. As long as it doesnât affect those not involved with the person with XP turned off, I canât say I care too much.
Explain to me please why its a good thing to do this for the general population of wow. It does not affect anyone besides the buyer and the seller.
And i personally know about 10 people that do the same thing with multiple toons locked at different levels.
Tbh, my first dungeon experience of BFA was with a DH doing just this and I just felt robbed of the experience. It wasnât fun.

It is screwed up that Blizzard sees this as a better solution than fixing the real problem, that a 110 is more powerful than a 120.

This is a fair complaint. My Shadow Priest is hitting like a wet noodle vs. some 112 frost mage I was running around next to one day. It was confusing.

itâs good because it might help from promoting more of these damn carry groups/persons thatâs crapping on everyone elseâs experiences in one way or another.
it might not affect us directly⌠while theyâre leveling⌠but it surely does indirectly when they get to max level and still have no clue how to play their class, and we get the grand fortune of being stuck in a pug with them⌠thatâs how it affects me.

Blizz, da hell are you thinking? really?
It is pretty clear they want people to queue for islands with a friend - so you would know (hopefully via some debuff) that the 3rd guy has xp off and you can immediately kick him.
If you queue IE solo you have been abused all along, and it only gets worse with this change. IE are one of the worst types of content to solo queue for ever. I had people ORDER me to stay on the boat, and if i left the boat they booted, so i left eh boat, and they booted.
Although I did get the GMs to deal with those people, its only because I had screenshots and they had the idiocy to put that in chat, which is a violation of the ToC. I do hope it messed up their raids that week with some kind of ban, that woulda been karma at work.
