Party wide twink XP debuff 8.2 .... WHAT?!

That’s the way I understood it as well. I get a bit of enjoyment jumping in randoms from time to time with my DH just to blast through a dungeon or two while carrying the group.

I actually saw someone say they tested it on wowhead.

Do you remember where you saw it exactly

Yes it was.
And, as much as blizzard enjoys doing the odd stupid thing, they could not be so dumb as to allow the kind of trolling/griefing it would cause to let it happen in random Q’s.

You have high hope in blizzard I guess

I bet I know how to garner a bit of hate. I just made a second account I paid for with gold I made from powerleveling people and it will be full of BIS free to play level 20 toons just to smash levelers when I get bored

I was skimming through the post on there about the nerf and it was a random comment. Sorry I don’t remember how far it was into the comment section.

I never said that. Read again.

I never said anything about that.

This is a terrible change. It doesn’t just affect twinks, but people like me who lock xp so I can enjoy an expansion’s content. I have my shaman locked at 110 because I’m still going through Legion stuff for the first time and many of the quests involve dungeons. That’s not fair to force my playstyle to negatively impact other players.

That’s why I pay for radio, now’days.

What do you expect from a dev team that thinks that they know how you should play the game and have fun.

It is obviously an exploit though /s

You already have heirlooms, you don’t need easier paths, they’re the easy path.
What, you want the game played for you?

How many 120s do you have? If you have a decent amount you would know how bad leveling over and over in bfa is

21 on 120, and about 5-6 on 111-113, leveling is part of the game.

This is mind boggling. You are right OP how are we to determine who in the party has their XP off. I also doubt that said person would even mention it. I would even go to say they would do it on purpose just to mess with people. This is bullying and Blizz needs to have another resolution.

I had 2 full servers of 110 , 1 of each class at this point in Legion, I have 8 120’s in BFA.

Most of the time you can inspect and figure it out. Especially at higher levels. If someone has a high ilvl necklace @ 110 they are probably xpoff

isnt there a debuff if they turn it off ???

Currently only they see it. I have a level 90 warlock for MoP scenarios I was gearing out with a 2nd account. On my warlock I was able to see the buff but my DH did not. Unless they change that for 8.2
