When you try to listen to Rell’s report, it just teleports you to another location, and nothing else happens.

Adding to this, can’t complete the Horde-side version of this questline either. Scouting Report: Hostile Natives has the exact same effect of teleporting you to the location but not initializing the phased event.

Yep and it is still occurring because I just ran into the issue and have spent 45 minutes or so trying to set it off right. Only to find out that its broken.

Ditto. Same here. Other than getting transported to another location in the woods, nothing happens.

For players experiencing quest blockers in Pandaria / The Jade Forest, specifically the Horde’s Scouting Report: Hostile Natives and Alliance SI:7 equivalent:
The bug was reproduced in today’s (1-17-20) new PTR build 8.3.0.33084. The quest still cannot be completed.
Since this is the same build pushed to Retail also today , the assumption is the bug still exists there as well.
This bug was reported in the PTR publicly in early January, and we’re still waiting for a fix.

We have confirmation that the Horde version of the quest could be completed as of 1-30-20. Please try again, Alliance-side.
Confirmed, Alliance-side questline is working.
