I’m not sure what you are talking about…according to your toon, you don’t do competitive PvP.
You’re the one crying to make paladins broken. I am not lobbying for rogues to be an OP class.

Stop living in the past…the game has moved on, and so should you…
Like life…stop dwelling…move on its 2025!
I don’t know what that means. A brand new player now gaining enough experience during the next six months to know the difference, can verify for themselves that there is a crowd control and mobility variance from spec to spec, and they would likely determine that retribution is one of the losers in this situation. It doesn’t require somebody having experience for the whole last twenty years to know what the current situation is in pvp.
You have two immunities, a range stun, enough burst to kill someone, a full health heal button, mid-range builder / spender (no resource management), and other skills…
Please don’t say your bubbles can be dispelled because not every class has access to dispel. This game is balanced around strengths and weaknesses. Learn to play with your strengths and accommodate your weaknesses.
Do you expect to beat every class in a 1v1 situation?
If you want to be OP in 1v1, play a healer…as a Paladin, you can go holy…stop playing Ret…
Again, if you have that many complaints about paladins, play another class.
No one is forcing you to play a Paladin…This applies to new and veteran players.
It is not valid for you and your interests. So speak for yourself. You have already been duly informed that these ideas are not polished and unbalanced. These are just ideas! It’s sad to see you pretend not to understand to support your selfish vision and completely out of alignment with the needs of players who seek satisfaction when playing with their favorite specs. remember to separate in your head, what you want, with the needs of others
Ideas?
I want Blizz to make all classes counter paladins. I want a skill to cc paladins to ensure they stay in place and can’t use any skills at all so I can auto attack them until they die.
That’s an idea so you can’t complain.
I won’t answer you! Considering that you completely ignore the information they give you and what they say about you, I fear it is a disease and therefore I do not intend to decriminalize it
Perhaps, but guess what we are warriors of light, where is our martial skills? They could give us a leap to the enemy target for it.
So iconic DK’s gets it too! It’s as iconic as sprint… aka not really iconic.
It’s all good. I don’t play an easy-mode class and whine about how my class is so bad and needs to be buffed with more offensive and defensive skills to beat everyone in a 1v1 situation.
You’re just upset because you don’t know how to utilize your class’ skills.
That is already in the rogue toolkit, if you can kite, los, or press vanish during divine shield.
Why the defensives and blessing of freedom being dispellible matters so much to me is playing arena and hoping for a favorable lobby is not really my jam. I spend most of my time PVPing in battlegrounds, especially rated battlegrounds. The chances of me being in a Blitz with no enemies that can dispel my defensives must be astronomically low. I don’t think it’s ever happened. That fancy ranged stun I have you keep talking about, it is used as an interrupt to try to protect my defensives from at least one person. I might stun the warrior on the shattering throw and catch a dispel from a priest 30yds away, and my inturupt is melee range, and I can’t shadowstep/kick or Grapple/kick. So a 4 or 5 minute CD defensive gets removed by a 1 min CD dispell and the same person can use the same ability that’s a dispel the next time I use a defensive, fun . As a good rogue does, I’m sure you’ve gone in for a melee interrupt on a priest without using instant mobility just to receive a fear for your effort, that can happen to everybody with a melee interrupt.
Your toon’s achievement said otherwise about you PvP’ing competitively.
That’s not logical at all.
This is blizzards description of rogues:
“…Lethal assassins and masters of stealth, they will approach their marks from behind, piercing a vital organ and vanishing into the shadows before the victim hits the ground.”
So by your logic, rogues should have a skill that will kill you in one hit.
Come on man! Be reasonable.
That’s not logical at all.
Did i say we are rogues in that post? No i said we are warriors of the light. Learn to read.

SIGH
I know that’s what you said…
I think you have issues comprehending…
I’ll explain it again for you…maybe this time you will get it…
If you need martial skills to “leap” to your target because you are a “Warrior of Light.”
I, a rogue, need a skill to kill any class in one hit because, as per Blizzard, I can pierce a vital organ and vanish into the shadows before you hit the ground.
i know, you dont have to tell me about it. im just saying this is where this convo was gonna go and by the looks of it. went.
i feel like steed is fine as mobility for ret, the steed freedom talent tho shouldnt get rid of hof as a button tho
Come on man! Be reasonable.
This guy cracks me up…
Ya when I play my ret I feel like they are in a good spot I dont feel I need another movement trick.
I know that’s what you said…
Then don’t go out of the way to change the narritive of the post for your narritive?
I think you have issues comprehending
Before you even try to go this route, try reading peoples posts fully first. I know it’s hard for you, but i will give you one last shot at it.
My stance;
Ret’s don’t need range, nerf it so ppl like YOU don’t get confused that it’s how it’s meant to be played. Ret paladins has too many talents that needs the paladin to be in melee to do it’s full potential damage like any other melee, and needs to be treated as every other melee, as such they need an instant gap closer like every other melee has to do this. If this means it’s a choice node with steed fine, what ever, but ret’s needs this at the very least in pvp instances due to other classes overbearing increased movement and escape mechanisms that grew since DF.
but i will give you one last shot at it.
My stance;
Gets popcorn and soda, sits back in chair…
Vanishing before your target hits the ground does not require your target to hit the ground.
