[Pacific Northwest] You have been disconnected. (WOW51900328)

The proton vpn was able to get around it.

I just called Wave CS as well. I reset the modem, as well as resetting the signal. Still can’t login. Strangely enough…my roommate is able to login to Wow TBC - however he is playing on a west coast server (I am on Sulfuras - East Coast). Not sure if that matters or not

this whole thing started on Dalaran server with one of my characters, so you may have a very good point, that is also an East Coast server…that might help them find the issue faster

He actually tried to log onto Sulfuras for one of his other toons and got the same 328 error we’ve been discussing.

Yes I am trying to play on Faerlina. East coast server as well. The west coast tracert is fine. So it is definitely going from west to east that is messing it up.

Same issue here. WA state. Wave.

This happens every major patch it seems. Use a VPN to temporarily get around the issue.

its a shame you cant pick your realm if a log in attempt fails at the log in screen, i would be totally happy playing my west coast characters until this gets fixed, but since i was last on dalaran…i cant even get on my alts

I just got off the phone with Astound (Wave) and the lady I talked to said it’s in their system as being worked on and there is something wrong with a routing node that’s affecting the whole West coast. No ETA given tho :frowning:

I can play West Coast servers on Classic, but if I try and log into the East Coast servers I get hit with this issue.

I’m in Oregon here with that same error message, You have been disconnected (wow51900328), but only when trying to switch realms.

Hey all,

Just wanted to acknowledge that we’ve seen the reports and are tracking this connectivity issue affecting users from the Pacific Northwest. It is primary affecting Wave ISP in Washington, Oregon, and California, but there are some smaller ISPs who use similar routing that are being affected as well.

I’m glad to hear that some of you have been able to get information from the ISP that indicates they are already aware of the issue and working on it. Hopefully we will see things clear up fairly soon.

As some have discovered already you are welcome to connect through a mobile data hotspot or a VPN to work around this issue, as both of those options will change the routing you normally use to get to the game servers.

thank you for reaching out and letting me know there is a solution in the works, i honestly think if Wave had left a “bookmark” for this issue when it happened when 9.2 came out it might of been resolved much faster (this feels exactly like what happened patch day then too and will probably happen again on Dragonflights pre patch / expansion launch)

at least i hope things will be cleared up by friday…if not sooner

same thing here

How do you trace your request like this

Using the VPN software someone up above posted (which is free), I was able to connect.

It kind of sucks, because I don’t play retail anymore, only classic, yet I was still impacted, too.

open command prompt and type tracert then the ip of your server

anyone have any luck getting in without a VPN? been over 13 hours since this whole thing started and still no luck for me, is there a work around so i can log into west coast characters from the launch menu?

maybe a secret way to get to the server select screen without the server being down? it would be very helpful for the next time this happens (pre patch)

I’m sure a lot of us can’t even get to the server screen. Really don’t wanna use vpn to play a game :upside_down_face:

They tried saying that with me, I told them I could use a VPN or my phone data to access WoW. When I use Wave service, it doesn’t work. That did the trick.
