You probably have free health care though, we pay a crap ton just for health insurance, about 500/mo, that’s more than our mortgage.
And if something did happen we’d still have to pay a grand out of pocket, stupid US healthcare.

He lives with his mom dude. 1300 / month is plenty.
And with his “talent” he could find a software job. He literally admits he gets 1300 / month (that was 2 years ago too) so his patreon has only grown since. The point is the issue in his life is taking care of his mother, not DBM. He was also Mythic raiding at very high level through it, and that’s more what he quit than anything else.
So if someone wants to manually download addons, what is the best way to find those pages, and download? Where would you go to look for new updates, new addons etc.?
It’s almost like you choose to download the program and let it manage files on your computer when alternatives exist.
The point is that if the law is brought up and it’s made public that people are going to threaten to sue… Overwolf won’t want the bad publicity and will back off. They’re already trying to word everything to make it sound happy and positive. They don’t want bad publicity. Threats to sue over a US law is bad publicity.
Honey, the ads are also on the website. There were no ads in Twitch. And no one else has had an issue with other addon managers until Overwolf tried to make it sound like the devil’s work if someone was web scraping.
What does living with his mother have anything to do with it? She was in her 70s at the time of the post, she’s not providing to the house much, and apparently she’s ailing in some way since he needs to take care of her.
And the point of the issue was he didn’t have the money to take care of himself, taking fish antibiotics to help with an abscess being the worst of it.
And you’re still missing the point. People AREN’T going to leave cursforge for “greener pastures” when curseforge literally is paying them and has been for years.
LOL. Wow. I want to live where you live. My mortgage is 2k/month.
We bought a foreclosure and paid 20k up front, so we’re only paying on less than 100k
If you call paying a deductible free. I rarely see a doctor anyway so I pay out of pocket every time I do go.
Dude. LOL. A foreclosure where I live is 450k+ and comes with massive issues in need of immediate fixing.
Man, I want some of that 500/month health insurance , I’d rather pay that than 2k/month mortgage if it means super cheap housing I can renovate to my liking.
A few blocks over there’s an 800 square foot house for sale at 300k. I need to consider moving somewhere cheaper
Welcome to the mid-south, even mansions around here don’t hit over 400-500k.
Though a tornado did take out a bunch of stores including our petsmart so we have to order everything on amazon for the bunny and cats
Those are rookie numbers, gotta pump those up.
Oh… canada? aren’t you in a housing crisis, like there’s not enough? Something about companies buying up empty homes iirc?
Why do you think Twitch is getting rid of the addons? They aren’t making money on it.
Someone has to pay for it.
No, there’s plenty. We’re more in a “housing crisis, china is buying everything up, because you can pay for citizenship that way”.
Our housing bubble is caused by external “investors” using our housing market as a sort of stock market. Most condos in Montreal are empty, just bought up and resold like vulgar stocks would be.
That’s insane. I guess that’s city living though? I’m in a small town about 60 miles from our states major city.
That’s what it was, I remember something about no places to buy for a decent prices but a bunch of empty housing.
Nah, that’s not city living that’s external companies screwing over canadian residents
Richmond B.C. is even worse. It’s a suburb, and you have these “grandma” homes for 1.5M :

That place actually literally looks like my grandma’s old country shack., it needs top down renovation. Insane price.
