I can see the deposits and withdrawals in the money log. I have a screenshot, but if someone can also manually go in and look, you will see that the balance should be about 575,000g. And it is just not accessible. I’ve submitted multiple tickets and the GMs are just not reading it or understanding what I’m saying. I understand maybe this is a bug, but I’m not going to be satisfied submitting a bug report as that will not provide me any way to regain access to my gold. Can someone please help me with this?
To clarify - there are two characters in the guild, both of which are on my account. I am attempting to access the gold on the guild master.
To further clarify - the money log page clearly indicates the total of the gold in the vault should be 575,000 gold. However, the only amount that is available to me to be withdrawn currently is the 50s that I deposited myself trying to check why the gold total was displaying as 0g. So the current balance says 50s. However, again, you can see on the money log that I have deposited 575k gold. It was never withdrawn, it just doesn’t display any more.
Further clarification - I reset the WoW User Interface (followed each step exactly), and the issue was not resolved.
Are the ones in the guild on sub time? Maybe a officer needs to verify you first?
I once gave permissions for each tab it’s own owner. Also officer had to verify on in\out in tabs.
No, I have been continuously subscribed since January of last year. This guild only has characters in it that are on my account. I cannot access the gold on the guild master.
It very well could be a display issue. As the previous poster said, you’ll want to try a full UI reset (note it does include more than just the addon folder.) Here is how:
Okay, I have followed the list you attached. And I can verify that after resetting the WoW User Interface (including deleting my addon launcher), the issue has not been resolved.
As I clarified in the original post, the only available amount currently is 50s that I deposited after realizing all of the gold was not displaying. So, I saw it said literally 0g available, and then yesterday I deposited 50s thinking “maybe this will reset it or fix it or something.” So currently, my available amount is that 50s. Withdrawing past that gives me “The guild bank does not have enough money.”
I have submitted approximately 8 tickets in game, and I do not think that any of the GMs are even fully reading my ticket. Each of their responses has been almost completely unrelated to the issue I am having. I have been attaching the picture of the money log, and I do not think even one of them has opened it.
I was under the impression that it said you had “575,000” gold available.
If it says 50s, and you only think it should say 575,000, then the options are endless as to what has happened:
Someone else with an appropriate rank could have taken it.
You could be misremembering.
It could have been taken out in 1,000 gold chunks, 575 times, by someone else.
The only way to figure this out is by ticket. If you’ve put in eight tickets without a solution, I’d wager the problem isn’t being described correctly…? I don’t know. What did the most recent ticket response say?
That’s not really of much use, as the log only holds stuff for two or three days, maybe seven days maximum, depending on how many transactions take place.
In an active guild the log can start to wipe itself in a single day.
Respectfully, this is my bank guild. All transactions since 7 months ago are visible. I am not even considering any gold that might be missing prior to that point. I can visibly see all of the transactions in the log currently should yield me 575,000g. However, again, it just does not display as available.
Fair enough. No need to clarify respect, this is all business and I’m just querying to eliminate the most obvious issues.
I like to relate the old story where I sold someone a video game system and they brought it back, angry that it was broken, yet they never put a game disc in the machine (this was PS2 days.) Unfortunately, as a troubleshooter you can’t assume anything; you need to ask.
The last ticket instructed me to submit a bug report. That’s why I mentioned my issue with simply submitting a bug report in the original post. Obviously, there is no personal follow-up with a bug report, so that will not help me to recover this gold in any way.
Re-open that ticket, and explain that while you will (or did) indeed put in a bug report, you want to access the gold.
Perhaps an SFA will chime in here (no guarantee), but barring that you need to keep the tickets going. Don’t open a new one; keep the correspondence going back-and-forth on the same ticket. There will be a “I still need more help,” button (or similar) included in your response from Blizz.
