well…well…surely you might need rdf on your main or if you have guild/friends but what about all your characters! can all of them survive and do dungeons at any level, any time, any point even at later phases?
however RDF is just a feature that have it’s pros&cons, you as a person might not need it and some players will not be effected buy it but for ALOT Of people it’s a salvation somehow so why not giving it to them!!
must be a joke.
1st how do you know that all what i said above is positive changes? you’re new here or something? those changes in classic2019 and tbcc, drove away tens of thousands of players who came seeking original experience, and soon same will happen for wotlkc.
2nd RDF Not keeping with spirit of classic ROFL, what are you talking about? the gold selling / buying, gdkp’s everywhere, bots bots lots of bots, boosts at every direction…pve/pvp, there are 99% of issue’s that damage the game and blizzard left them for 3years but when it comes to the only change that will prevent selfish actions such as “dungeon reserve, ML, ninja items, toxic leader removing others, stress eyes reading spam chat, or waiting in Blizzard fail ui GF forever” YES The RDF will solve all those but when it comes to it, some ignorant kids say No! they can’t be this dumb tbh, they must be abusers or real money traders.
this must be positive changes, i’m rolling on the floor from the laughs.
people talking about how rdf will destroy the social bla bla bla LOL, get a life.
do you know how much money blizzard has? ofcourse they could pay people their salaries and to post on forums to shill out for them, they spend more on marketing
First of all girlfriend, stop posting in all caps.
Second of all, we have literally shown how easy it is to get into groups using the group tool in wrath classic.
You fit the retail mold quite well… maybe you should stick to retail instead of coming here demanding to have your retail convenience tools added to the classic version of the game.
If you design a city around cars, it affects everyone who lives there. See: Houston, Texas vs Amsterdam. If you design a game around low effort, low engagement, random groups…
are you saying dragonflight is going to not be a real game? i was under the impression we are all paying subs for retail, a real game. wow classic is just an included service.
It was. Very easy compared to the other mmos at the time. But it was the right kind of easy, and it was the kind of “easy” that attracted 10 million paying subscribers to it.
This was without RDF. RDF was implemented during the height of this phenomenon.
The RDF enjoyers like to claim that its because RDF the game achieved such a high subscriber base, but in reality the opposite is true. It takes a little lag time for a population to adjust to new features, and once the feature was firmly imbedded into the game, the subsequent expansion, subscribers tanked by 2 million. Then when LFR was added at the end of that expansion, subscribers tanked again by a staggering 3 million. Panda land had nearly half of what the game had during WoTLK before RDF was implemented.
The retail game has never recovered. Ease, convenience, anti-social systems have all contributed to the dismal state of the retail game today. And its sad.
That’s so weird and cringy for you to say. It’s just a discussion, and you’re being toxic about it
I don’t even hate the idea of RDF, I just think the arguments for it are very weak and come from a place of a group of entitled people unwilling to navigate the same tools and social structure the rest of us are doing to get into groups
