Animal crossing popularity = proof of mass exodus from WoW

No, my post is not invalid. Nice try though. That is a pathetic argument

Really, you don’t even need to do the planetary quests either. I do them sometimes just for the story but they’re still optional. I’ll often just do the class quests and some heroics every few planets just to keep my gear up.

Yeah, if that. I imagine numbers will be even lower by then.

It’s amazing, but every time I stick my toe in, I feel like I might fall in and never get out.

It’s just so big, there’s so much to do.

I’ve played WoW too long to swap at this stage.

Yeah, probably. Content droughts between expansions are obnoxious that way. :\

“After doubling in the second half of 2019, World of Warcraft ’s active player community1 increased further in the first quarter, driven by both new and returning players, as the team continued to deliver more content between expansions than ever before.”

I loved the story. But good god I was so disappointed in the end game that I went back to WoW. Really left a sour taste in my mouth and haven’t gone back since.

I’m literally one night of boredom away from playing it, so many good reviews

Yep. it will be interesting to see how long classic can hold onto any decent numbers though, assuming they don’t upgrade them into the BC servers they talked about.

Not my problem.

you dont even need to keep your gear up outside of buying orange gear and using mods to upgrade them every 4 levels or so.

Hmm might have to pay it a visit again then… I enjoyed the game immensely but it got hard there for a while grouping.

Hmm, I see…

Oh well. I’m going to go play some more WoW.

I agree. Classic is going to continue to be of great interest to me, particularly if they start progressing it. I don’t honestly believe that many people are there for its endgame (with the possible exception of Naxx, if/when that happens), so I’m curious how long it’ll last once people tire of leveling alts.

“It’s okey to like other stuff”

I feel like that could go into one of WoW’s loading screens.

It would be a sad world indeed if there was only one game to play with no competition.

lol preach

You dont play SWTOR because you are looking for a WoW alternative, imo. You play SWTOR because you want a KOTOR story. If you want an alternative to WoW you play FFXIV or ESO.

I appreciate the post… but I have every class at max level in raiding gear or up to Gods of the Machine anyway… I’m well aware of the game and story telling… but when there isn’t people on… there isn’t people on.
