Other MMOs and MOBAs understand how putting characters outside of standard tropes is healthy

Uhh okay??

I actually think guardian druids should be changed to be more lighthearted like Ardenweald and blood death knight needs to visually change to become sexier.

Make my bear druids use more nature spells, vines, flowers , mushrooms and stars.

Make blood death knight more visually enjoyable, use assets we saw used in Rivendreth… if they could make playing death knight feel like a vampire lord/sire denarius it would be flat out better cause atm it is just whacking things and red stuff comes out

Your inability to form a cogent argument rather than offer ad hominem attacks is pretty telling.

You’re not even arguing all your responses are just

“Nuh uh”

No. My post was asking you to compare/contrast how you feel they are the same and all you have come up with “BECAUSE THEY ARE, STUPID!”.

If you can’t explain what about them makes them the same, then you don’t actually have an argument.

I wrote it, and you just ignore it so I’m assuming you just can’t read

This is a really bad comparison.

And then likely quit the role.

You didn’t, you just repeated (again) that they are the same thing.

Cause it’s common sense.

No one has to explain to me why a warlock and necromancer are similar cause it’s common sense

I don’t need my hand held, everyone else got it but you didn’t.

That’s a you problem, not an us problem.

Because you can’t actually explain it.

Your feelings are not common sense.

Everyone else got what i was saying.

Ah, so this is one of those topics.

Can we bring back warlock tanks from pandaria? That glyph made it fun as hell

GW2 doesn’t follow the generic triangle of tank, dps and healer like WoW does. Pretty much anything can be a tank in gw2 and healers don’t really exist in a sense they do in WoW as most classes just bring “support” capabilities to group content. I absolutely love Necromancer in that game because they are unkillable high self sustain monsters that also bring massive support to themselves and in group content.

Because of the above you get some really crazy class design due to them not really having to follow the archaic tank, dps and healer rhetoric.

So what is OP wanting exactly. I’m trying to figure it out. More cuteness and far off non-traditional types of classes? OP is saying all the tanks are the same? lol. OP mentioned a bunch of games that are up their alley. They can play those and leave mine alone. There is a reason I don’t play those games. WOW isn’t perfect but it’s kept me playing for 18 years. I don’t want more cuteness, fluff or whatever. I like the traditional fantasy setting. Hard pass thank you.

What the hell?

Your cute tank is called Vulpera Warrior.

You’re garbed in heavy armor the only thing standing between your enemies and your friends deaths.

Sorry but tanking is in itself “edgy” by that fact if what the role signifies in wow. You’re a guardian protecting the lives of others through self sacrifice and harm.

Tanks are edgy by definition. In a war game where the enemy is killed you can’t have “cutsie tanks”.

Only by race in wow if you’re a race you find cute otherwise a tank is THE edgy…

What you ask would be like asking for water to not be wet.

Water is the wet and tank is the edgy.

Same. This “let’s turn WoW into xyz game!”. No, if I wanted a game like xyz I would go play xyz.b I am playing WoW because gasp I like how it works.

Just sounds like we all want the glyph system expanded on.

The ability to do all this is right there. They just need to create the options, and a lot of them.

FTFY.

And the reason it’s true is because one of the biggest, if not the biggest, reasons we have a tank shortage is because of the players generally toxic attitudes. Lose the attitudes, and we’ll have more people tanking.

Semper Fi! :us: :ukraine:
