Just play Disc Priest and throw glitter at MFer’s.
But I like my bears being feral and savage. I like them representing strength ferocity. Representing the primal strength of nature. If you want stars and moons, Boomchickens are your spec, if you want flowers, vines, and mushrooms, resto is your friend. The druid does all the things you want. To be fair, depending on talents, the bear can do some of the things you like.
As for DK’s, they never appeared to be vampires to me, they’re just undead. If you want them to be sexier well… Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so that’s kind of a you problem.
FF14 healers:
White Mage - literally what most people see when they think healer
Scholar - My PET heals you too!
Astrologian - SHIELD ALL THE THINGS
Sage - I’m firing my laser to heal you
WoW has Disc priest that offers the “Damage to heal” play style. There’s even an “I am a discount shadow priest” build for them now that seems OK in my limited experience.
Pallies and monks both have (or had) a “Punch things to heal my team” setup as well.
For wow tanks we have:
DK - two handed weapon, self heals & shields, does (or did) pretty solid DPS
Monk - Choice of two one-handed or a two-handed weapon, delays damage taken, lots of dodging
DH - Big Armor, medium self heals. Uses 2 one-handed weapons
Guardian - Is a bear. Does bear things. Has a big butt. Sometimes dodges things, but usually just soaks in the damage. Uses a two-handed weapon
Warrior - Sword and Board. Absorbs, Self Heals, blocks things. Prototypical “Tank”
Pally - Sword and board. Self Heals, blocks things, does a Captain America impression. A more different Prototypical tank.
Out of 6 tanks only 2 of them are “traditional” tanks. You could argue 3 of them are, and I could even buy it if your 3rd is bears.
I think you are being intentionally obtuse to try and make a point that doesn’t need made.
and in both of those games, hots and ow are dead/dying respectively
I would be inclined to tank more if my DPS options werent melee or Druid.
