Except it didn’t work in the games lore.
And war horses were extensively trained IRL to not be spooked. They could keep their cool even when gunshots were going off all around them.

In real life one single Human can literally erase all of azeroth, and any of the other worlds with it with a little work. (Such as deleting all the data and such)
Did the viper vs. the mountain not teach us that size doesn’t matter when you’re flat on your back!?
Bravado, where do the Orcs live?
In a desert.
There are also less of them, due to numerous genocide attempts on both sides.
The Horde are in a dire position where, yes, they’re physically dominant, but they’re stuck in areas without resources and the forces to utilize them.
Garrosh’s entire platform was war for the sake of resources because the alliance were winning. You have these hulking Horde soldiers clothed in leather and wood being cut to pieces by Alliance soldiers in plate. Even in the battle for Lordaeron, we can see that resources are once again an issue. Metal seems to be a resource reserved for the battlehardened - those that’ll walk away with it. it’s dented, scratched, and more often than not covered in dried blood. They wear it battle to battle, because it’s all they have. The foot soldiers though? They’re garbed in cloth and leather. Things you can grab from the land. They’re relying on their strength and swiftness to avoid spears, bullets, and cannonfire, because canonically, they don’t have much else.
Meanwhile ever alliance footsoldier gets a standard-issue plate armor set. Their forces are trained and organized, prepped for any and all forms of combat. The alliance has their own heavy hitters too, in the forms of the Worgen and the Draenei. Have you ever seen a draenei bleed? No, of course you haven’t, because the only thing that can pry apart Argus Plate is artillery, and at that point there’s not much left.
The Horde’s disadvantage is environmental, hun, and it’s easy to see.
The entire conflict of the Horde and Alliance completely runs on the rule of cool and nothing else. If we take a look at the available technology ingame we wouldn’t fight in plate armor with sword, shield and spear…we would more likely sit in some trenches, waiting for the next artillery barrage consisting of either shells or magical fireballs, or fumble around with our gas masks to stop the blight from killing us in an instant.
In some cases we might also have to run into some reinforced bunkers deep underground, because some airships, planes and helicopters bombard us. And if we then start an assault, we have to duck and run from cover to cover because SI:7/goblin snipers will put several bullets into our chest, or some mages will summon a blizzard, all the while we’re also under machine gun fire. Who needs strength when you have a machine gun? Or a bolt-action-rifle?
Rule of cool dictates that the smaller you are the more successful you will be, because taking someone twice your size down with sick ninja maneuvers is way cooler than beating up someone half your size.
The answer is clear…we must teach the Dwarves Aikido so they can throw their opponents with their weird inhuman strength!
You underestimate the power of human potential.
Strong, yes, but dumb as a rock.
Needed someone from the future to come to Draenor and explain the concept of a wheel to them lol.
The Federation crushed the Klingons. Game over.
OoOoOo big strong orc man gonna come beat up Alliance? Boom big orc man dead from single shot from dwarf gun.
They’re specifically trained for certain stimulants “gunfire, explosives,” and that’s a process that takes years and is very expensive so generally only the officers had trained battle horses. Demonic fel magic inducing fear isn’t anything you can train a horse to overcome.
Uhhh… No?
We all saw what happened when the mountain rolled over the viper.
Wrong martial art. Aikido requires using your center of gravity and leverage to displace greater force. A dwarfs center of gravity is too low and they have no leverage.
Fair point…
You seem to think that taking out one horse will take out an entire cavalry charge as though that isn’t something that the rest of the riders are trained for.
And it doesn’t matter. Warlocks were relatively few in the Horde and were almost never on the front lines because they were too valuable and too fragile.
Good lord buddy, learn to read something OTHER than lore books.
Horses are herd animals. You fear 2 or 3, the entire herd will panic. This is nature. Half your army is crushed and 95% are dismounted and easy prey in that heavy armor they can barely move in.
Not in WoW apparently. Looks like human horses have special anti-Warlock fear training.
Isn’t the basis of this thread supposed to be “the Horde would never lose irl” yet you’re giving the Horde magic powers IRL
Dwarves are stronger than all other races and fight like Hell.
Night Elves are very skilled fighters.
Humans have the light guiding them.
No i’m pointing out how stupid Blizzard was. You should be used to that on these forums.
Not anymore, Illidan blew it up.
