Nope she is on the money of you equating 2 very different things. All agreed say I?
If by “all” you mean all three of you not grasping it then you have a quorum.
Fortunately blizzard is keeping classic authentic so we do not have to worry about any of these trolling suggestions.

Don’t quote me on that tho.
You know it’s like only been about 6 of us having this conversation anymore at this point.
I’d people are going to ask for absurd changes, other people are going to ask for more absurd changes, then you have retail, not classic.
Except there are very logical reasons why to shoot down those absurd changes. You have not provided one for this proposed idea other than it would spark other proposals (which will happen regardless).

As much as you’ve contributed to this bonfire for better or worse have a <3
I am going to go off on a tangent with this reply.
When WOW was released I was playing on a CRT 4:3 monitor still. I later moved to a widescreen monitor and I now have an ultrawide monitor. In the case of this particular technology, it offers me a direct advantage. I can see more of what is going on around me in both PVP and Raiding. That hardware gives me an advantage.
So should we all be forced back into a 4:3 or 16:9 aspect for the duration of Vanilla? The answer is no, no one would agree to such a thing.
What we are talking about in this thread is an OPTIONAL toggle. Offers none of this. No one would ever know which option I am using. It offers no direct advantage and it changes no game play mechanics.
I actually was trying to avoid derailing the thread by pointing out she was doing an irrelevant conclusion which is very similar to a straw man argument or better known in academic circles as a logical fallacy.
I am annoyed I still cannot post links, but do searches for “irrelevant conclusion”, “straw man”, and “logical fallacy”.
All together, they point to a troll posting.

LOL, give one that is any more logical than any other requests for change, none of which is happening anyway.
Hee I’m on a 3440x1440 aswell!

If it doesn’t happen (or just isn’t possible), I’ll not lose any sleep over it and will enjoy Classic regardless. I just think it would be a neat option because it keeps gameplay intact.

Neither would any other client side only graphics toggles.

Its exactly what they are doing. I wrote them off about halfway through the conversation. Goal post moving, no real argument or reason for their stance. They also apparently have foresight into the future and somehow know exactly how this is going to turn out /s
I cannot afford that yet, but as I had pointed out earlier, higher graphics, are an option, whether it is a monitor or models.
If people want graphics to be like vanilla, then they will have to restrict what resolutions we can play at or else it will be a #change.
That monitor gives me happy pants.
for mog?
Why are you keep talking about mog, transmog changes gameplay its not a mechanical change. You are so silly please stop
I prefer the dual screen setup myself.
Just do what I did, mark her posts as troll posts are start ignoring her.

With the hypothetical example you listed, transmog on client side. It changes game goal very much so. Knowing I went out of the way spend hours raiding to acquire judgement set gives me accomplishment that I’m playing this game to achieve. If it was transmog, I know I didn’t earn it, the other player doesn’t know and I’m just self glorify myself with a boring game feature.
Vs updated graphics models. Ok I’m more interesting to look at, on the rare occasion I don’t have a helmet on, my casting or attack animations look more fluid and not like I’m hitting a mob with a stick or hitting it with a snowball that’s fire colored.
