Normally I understand why you wouldn’t want layering, But this is a crisis and sacrifices need to me made. Please bring layering back temporarily.

Blizzard literally warned people on these servers that they would likely have ques before Classic even launched and provided free transfers off these servers after Classic released. And Blizzard is now providing free transfers off again. If you dont like the ques just transfer off already.

If you don’t like the idea of potential layering to combat massively underestimated queues, with the only downside of making materials that don’t spawn enough to remotely keep up with server population more reasonable, just transfer off already.

I do not know that they can.
MMO’s have a kind of magic number of concurrent user sessions you can get into an uninstanced game world.
It’s about 10k before things go madly to hell.
On those realms with the long queues, they are probably hedging against that now with the raises they already put in place.
Enabling layering again for the duration of the unusual situation is really the only good answer.
Forcefully shunting people off to other realms splits up friends and guilds and realm communities etc.
With layers they are still there, can still talk, and group etc.
It’s the lesser evil.
Who knows, maybe some resourceful bugger will take it upon himself to tank and level the lotus/flash market, since it only seems to be on these realms that it is much of an issue.
On my realm there are never many lotus or flasks in AH, and lotus’s stand in the open world unmolested, i walk by them all the time.
Absolutely add layering back into the game. With so many people online nowadays these queue times are really keeping me from getting on for anything other than raids.

I honestly do not think you can really estimate the queues.
It is based on the average of how long will a person stay logged in for.
Presently, that may be a lot longer than normal, for a larger number of people.
Like going to a restraunt, and they estimate 45min for my table, because thats how long people stay normally, and i decide to hang out for 3 hours having drinks and appetizers etc.
these queue times are absolutely ridiculous, pleaes add layering back…

Please bring the Layers back. 3 hour queue on Herod. Half our raid team can’t log on.
People are just going to quit particularly when the lock down ends because they cannot get on to play. Do something about this or you are going to hemorrhage subs. Don’t take your usual 2 months to put layering back in either. It will be to late by then.

There is no fun surprise in it.
5 1/2 hours last I saw for Herod. The faction balance is pretty bad, and people can’t even log in to see new content when it’s released. Adding more insult to injury, it’s not eligible for realm transfers. Presumably due to faction imbalance. Blizz seems to be afraid that the Alliance will leave.

Please fix the login que times. 1300 people in line, and over a hour wait to login.
