we all would, i currently work 50+ hour work weeks. This is a very sad day for my self…
Well being logged in for 2 hour waiting for raid time. get DC’d and go to a 160+ minute que and misses raid kinda sucks. I pay to play the game to raid… Log in early enough to make it through a que to raid and still get told no. If the issue is not fixed Blizz should refund all account payments for this month and leave free game play for everyone until this can be managed since we are not getting what we paid for.
so with this logic I would say it would be a good idea to fix the 1.5 - 2 hour que.
2 Layers would not hurt the economy and would lessen the que timers.
Layer already!!!.. trying to log into Herod 4 hours early only to be 2 hours late is a reason to just quit. Layers will just allow more to enjoy a game that has a limited time before more and more of the content becomes old and loses its excitement. ZG IS OUT NOW IS THE TIME…
Please add layering! I’m a very dedicated player from whitemane. We need it desperately
Any update on this, would be nice to know what is gonna happen and when. Layering, no layering, increased server capacity…
Whatever promoted you to assume such?
Layering is horrible… I have played since beta as you know… But as a temporary fix I would not be opposed as long as it was removed. What you need to do is offer free character and faction transfers to realms that have these extreme ques… We should not pay a sub to sit in ques for 3 hours a night… It was not this way when I signed up for my server…
What we need is a “fast pass” you can purchase to skip the queues!
C’mon blizz, use some initiative. You know you can squeeze more money by charging VIP access to realms for those who want to pay to play.
(or just provide free character transfers from Herod and I’ll be off in an instance)
I think this is what you should do. Instead of just opening up free transfers from 1 specific full server to 2 or 3 medium servers, you should open up transfers from ALL full (and/or high) servers in a region to ALL medium servers in the region. Leave them open until the server populations have evened out a bit. Right now there are only 4 medium pvp servers in the US west region at the moment, so this wouldn’t be too far off from what you’re doing with whitemane, for example.
Do what you need to get people into the game. Its clear Blizzard isnt going to be proactive about solving the problems of letting hundreds of people transfer to full servers. Having a few layers (especially if it scales up and down based on demand) is way more tolerable than not being able to login from 6 pm EST to 12 AM
My point exactly… why would you ever allow people to transfer to high pop realm…
YES. I would rather have 10000000 layers than wait 1 minute in a queue.
HOW ABOUT YOU JUST DO SOMETHING. IDGAF WHAT YOU DO.
6 hour queues are not acceptable. YOU HAVE THE MONEY. LOG INTO vSPHERE AND INCREASE THE ALLOCATIONS. IT’S NOT HARD TO CONTROL VMs.
Add layering and give us a free month of WoW while your at it for all the lost time
Says one of the most toxic players for this realm, doing more to dissuade new players than any queue.
Except it was one of the least populated when I rolled there on day 1? 2? 3? Whenever they released it. So I transferred to a lower but near full one that is now utterly dead and vacant (Horde side)…/sigh…so I rerolled back on Mankrik…and now there are queues again! FFS!
make new players our retruning players goto a lol populated sever. that way they don’t bog down allrdy populated severs
Made the mistake of not logging in for a 7:00pm raid until 2:50pm so I was an hour late
yes please, even with the multiple world bosses, based on the population it wont be much if any different from vanilla when compared to the amount of players vs world bosses killed.
Please, oh my god, please implement layering again. Call people’s bluffs, they won’t unsubscribe over layering being put in place. Blizzard, you must add layering again. I logged on at 5:50pm today for a 7:30 raid time, sat in a quick 5 min que, got disconnected while cleaning up dinner and came back to a 2hour 20min que. At time of writing I am still in the que.
