I was wondering if this happened to anyone else. I have two level 60s on sod separate accounts that I leveled specifically to 60 to get the boosts for MOP. I received 1 of the 2 boosts today so I have one missing and I have put in a ticket curious if this happened to anyone else?
Before you say that’s not how it works this is verbatim what blizzard included in their post. I am paying for two accounts, I got 2 kills so that means 2 boosts.
" You must have an active World of Warcraft Subscription or Game Time. Only one Level 85 Character Boost (Progression) will be granted per active World of Warcraft Subscription or Game Time account."
Very odd.
Just to make sure, you killed the boss required to get the boost on each of the characters correct?
Also, (i know this sounds really dumb) but you checked for the boost on both accounts right? Not just expecting two boosts on one account?
Again, I know dumb questions, just being super sure.
I killed the boss on both characters yes. And I checked both accounts. I know on retail they sometimes have account specific boosts so I figured oh well they are like retail and I stupidly used it on a dead realm for rare hunting purposes and my other one was meant for my monk lol. So I went to check the other account and it went poof too.
Are the two accounts linked?

They are but i’m paying for both. This is what their terms said. That it was per specific active account.

I was thinking the same thing… but it shouldnt mean “two seperate bnet accounts”
It reads as “one boost per sub” which should be fine under the main and WOW2 bnet method

i would quit if that happened to me
Same here. GM responded to my ticket that they are aware of the issue.
I’ve got logs, and provided those. Also didn’t get flying on the one boost I did get. Bugs everywhere.
They responded to my ticket saying I should have another boost according to it actually being 1 per active sub and then didnt do anything haha so I had to reply. But glad they are aware. I was worried as I wasted my first one.
Did you use 1 of your boosts on your 60 yet? If so, did it boost your professions?
Curious if anyone has made any headway with their tickets? The first response confirmed yes it is 1 boost per paid account as long as that account has a kill even if linked and the multiple responses after are them backtracking and doubling down that its 1 per battlenet.
No backtracking yet. My friend has received both of his boosts, one per account. He was with me on the kills each time.
1 per account on the same bnet?
I can confirm I definitely had the icon on both of my accounts. I used the boost on my second account and when I logged into my main account, the icon was gone.
He said the same as Essysha, used it on one, lost it on the second.
This is from their article:
This boost is separate from any other level 85 Character Boosts players may obtain from the in-game or Battle.net shops. Please note, players will only be granted one level 85 Character Boost (Progression) per active World of Warcraft Subscription or Game Time account from defeating Dreadlord Balanazzar in Season of Discovery.
I also have multiple paid subscriptions on same battle.net with lvl 60 Kills on Balnazzar. Received boost on one account and wasted it thinking I had multiple boosts
please help!
This is like the name reclamation all over again.
I’d be surprised if they don’t fix this. They specifically said per subscription on their original post. It just might take a little time.
This is a response I had from a GM this morning.
Hello !
Thank you for reaching Blizzard Entertainment, This is Game Master Tulixyna, and I understand that you didn’t receive the character boost on your second account after killing Balnazzar.
Dear XXXX, I know how confusing this could be, so I checked and would like to clarify that it is working as intended; you don’t get boost tokens on every account you have; no, you get only one character boost. I kindly need you to check this link below that explains everything without any confusion:
It was a pleasure looking into your issue, and great job defeating Balnazzar. If there’s anything else on your mind or any other issues you’d like us to explore, please feel free to reach out.
Stay safe, and have a good day.
All the best,
GM
