100% agreed! But just usually in things of priority over non-issue things first!
I am also doing only my necessary Shadowlands “weekly chores” since we were told that not being able to solo Legion content is “working as intended”.
I will only do the bare minimum of SL content now until I can fly, then if things are still the same & I cannot enjoy solo farming for mounts, pets, toys, & mogs in old content INCLUDING LEGION, I will just switch over to the other game I play sometimes. I have already begun spending more time in that game than WoW at this point.
They managed to fix scaling issues up to 40 & deliberately left out the Legion content, knowing that so many of us love to go back to old content.

Generally the previous expansion’s raids weren’t soloed until the end of the power climb in whatever the current expansion is.
Tried to solo mythic hellfire citadel when I hit cap in early legion and was routinely bodied.
You can always try group finder. I don’t have SL so I’m not sure if SL raids replaced BFA raids in the premade option. There’s always legion pugs going
I just cancelled my subscription. Legacy raiding is what my husband and I do to get a sense of personal progression, and a major source of enjoyment for us in the game. The fact that this is so broken right now and the dev team is treating it like it is normal or does not matter is actually making it where neither of us wants to play at all, not even the new expansion stuff (which we were mostly enjoying until we became aware of this issue). We spent last night on a different MMO, and will probably do the same for the foreseeable future.
We have quit other games because they did not offer a sense of personal progression (guild wars 2) or because they broke legacy scaling (dc universe online — which, to their credit, they fixed). We will not hesitate to quit WoW for good if this issue is not fixed.

They probably aren’t going to fix it, because they know Tramsmog is where the money is.
Except it would be dumb to not fix it. If transmog is where the money is, and they make it much harder to get, then a lot of people will unsub and they will make LESS money.

See that’s the thing. If they came out and said, yes we know this is an issue and we’re working on it, but we have to prioritize issues in new content and get those fixed first…I don’t think anyone here would have a huge issue with it. At least the issue would have been acknowledged.

They did this on purpose to force people to send their alts to Shadowlands, do all the chores, and get raid gear. It’s not a bug. It’s deliberate.

So like I agree with the overall point: let us farm legion raids and stuff.
That being said, I remember not being able to solo WoD raids in 8.0. I remember there being threads about it just like now.
Don’t get me wrong, apply the legacy debuff already so we can easily farm raids and stuff in legion im all for that. I just don’t think 8.0 is an example of it being done right.

I don’t remember the threads but I do remember raids differently, in 8.0 once I was 340 on my warlock and shaman I could do everything except mythic Archimonde.
My memory may be bad but I swear I remember threads just like this one asking for WoD legacy content. But I can barely remember what I ate for dinner last Monday so 
And because I don’t want to take away from the main point more than I have: apply legacy debuffs/buffs to legion. I’ve waited 4 years to grind for that dang sword and scythe easily! Let me do it already!!!
It took a while until 8.1 (especially HF Assault) but it was doable, and 8.1 was when I was able to kill Archimonde on mythic if I could nuke him down fast enough.
But yes, I want legacy mode added to Legion, I was able to kill mythic Gul’dan on two characters at the tail end of 8.3 and now I can’t on any and I want his infernal mount.
no, wod raids were absolutely farmable as a fresh 120 in basically 0 gear.
it’s pre-120 it might not have been farmable on higher difficulties.
sigh.
It should have been done, day 1. just like other expansions.

This thread is funny to me, because my first thought upon hitting 60 is “time to solo The Waking City Raid” just based on how easy it was to solo legion at 50. I mean i was going to be 10 levels above and when i cleared nighthold by myself i was 5. I did normal damage to Wrathion. Just funny to me that they say its been “fixed” like it was a bug when somebody clearly intended for it to be soloable. That guy doesn’t work here anymore probably xD
Uhh no at the start of bfa the more skilled could solo emerald nightmare and a bit of nighthold. In contrast hellfire citadel was only undoable for classes that didn’t have any kind of range dps to 1shot the mobs on the first boss before they hit the cannons.

In uldum right now, 60, fighting a normal elite mob. Took me many full rotations to take down, then along came a (really badly geared might I add) level 50 hunter, and proceeded to blow said mobs up faster than me.
Honestly it is broken as HELL.
Confirmed scaling as well past 50, yesterday I did another test where I brought a 51 and 60 DH to the end ‘boss’ for the vale assults. He confirmed had more health on the level 60 Dh than the 50 (meaning ALL old world mobs are scaling past their intended levels.)
The fact that blizzard hasnt said anything and it clearly didn’t get fixed is infuriating.
