Once again, punishes casual players!

How is it an issue that putting in time and effort rewards you with items commensurate of that very effort and time you put in?

Lol they can just tune the fights differently. They can still leave nice mogs for people dping challenging content. I really see no reason why PVP shouldn’t be on an even playing field. Also, making gear more plentiful would help remove a barrier to entry for raiding.

There is really no reason not to do it this way except crab mentality.

you’re forgiven. It’s clear alot of people in GD didnt know that button exist and can be used by everyone :smirk:

let’s be clear here. Casuals are not player who don’t do end game. They’re the players who log in once and awhile and do whatever they want to do. It can be farming, mog runs or end game. Hiding behind the word “casual” when in reality you guys are just entitled and bad are just getting old.

Current gear puts you past LFR and makes normal almost unnecessary. Hardly a barrier to entry.

They wouldn’t be tuning them differently, they’d be designing them differently. Raids are designed with gear progression in mind. The fights are supposed to get easier week over week and the DPS checks that felt hard before are supposed to become more and more attainable for groups that aren’t playing as well as Limit, Echo, etc.

And on removing the barrier to entry: The barrier to entry is not gear. We were maybe ilvl 210 or lower when Mythic first released, and when Heroic CN first released we were in M0 dungeon gear getting absolutely destroyed by Sinseeker. The only barrier is getting into a raiding guild, and I was able to do that being completely new to the game, with no logs or previous raid progression to show. It wasn’t one guild either, I had a few potential invites, it’s not as large a barrier as you probably think.

Simple fix would be:

  1. allow covenant gear to be upgraded.
  2. SL world quests give 1 valor each.
  3. all SL dungeon levels final bosses give 5 valor each.

Note how these People never have an answer to this question so they go to the usual cop out “what does it matter to you?” Response. Classic

i always find it so funny that people dont post their io link or post on their main. Like so many people talk sht but never show their experience even after being asked for it.

This is my main, i have nothing to hide, but it seems so many people on these forums are wearing a mask they dont want people to see behind.
EDIT: I didnt even try to make that ryhme.
did it again damnit

Neither of the responses to that quote equate to “what does it matter to you”

Covenant gear is fine where it’s at you don’t need mythic quality gear to do solo content

Its more than fine. At 186 item level, I was able to clear both layer 8s of Torghast last week on my Resto Shaman alt and I except that at 191 it will be even easier this week. I had to avoid big pulls that I’d normally laugh at on my paladin, but otherwise I was just as OP as my pally by floor 5.

Bro what? The only higher tier content you need 220 for is mythic raiding which is like the most Uncasual thing in the game lmao. Pvp gearing is skill & time locked so is M+. casual players don’t really care about either of those things much.
Sounds like you’re mad you have to play the content your subbing 15 bucks a month for.

Right? I feel like when people post their radical opinions on Here. Letting me see their character helps them understand so much more of their experience In the game and where they’re coming from

A job IRL should NEVER be compared to a persons entertainment. They are not comparable in any way shape or form. One is done out of necessity, the other is done as a form of enjoyment. They should never be compared.

hey man i like electricity and electronics, my job can be enjoyable sometimes

High warlord Chad in classic wow earned his r14 weapons through time and skill (some) private jimmy is just got clapped and wants to know if he too can have a r14 weapon to make it fair. Highwarlord Chad tells private Jimmy he was also a private some time ago, and had to respectfuly earn his weapon.

Private jimmy doesn’t want to put in the time to play the game he I subbed for, and would rather complain on the forums.

Fixed it for your alpha adult brain.

The onus is on YOU to explain to us (or at least to Blizzard) why you want better gear when that’s what you’re asking for.

Oh, oh. I misunderstood what you meant there. Apologies.

Also, Happy 10,000th post to me! Hurrah!

Casuals have never had a path to those top tier gear levels. We already have access to 197 covenant gear, 200 reputation gear, 207 WB gear, and 203 epic world drops without even stepping into a dungeon, raid, or M+. That’s pretty good gear for low effort casual play.

High gear levels are the reward for doing high level content, not for having a subscription. If you want top tier gear, you can’t be a casual, that’s the rule.

Not really true. I have friends who only log in once or twice a week, They’re as casual as they come. They log in do a couple of M+ then log out and play other games.
