What about alliance on stalagg? I cant speak for them but theres a lot of them angry at the free transfers that ruined their server and the other one is bad for the horde. (I forget which one). How would that be their fault? Not in that boat but it is another good reason for paid transfers. Faction transfers would help for them though
Server transfers were around in 1.12

I find it hard to believe that anyone would expect there to not be server transfers i mean why wouldnt blizzard monetize their game in this way especially when it has such high support for it and did exist in classic?
Lots of my friends are on different servers and it would be great to unite them all. All of us are willing to drop $25 to transfer to wherever we decide on hell, if one of us couldn’t I’d pay for it. Starting from scratch is a deal breaker.
When flying comes out just don’t fly, when real money auction house happens, just dont spend cash. Slippery slope buddy.
