I have a 45 mage I stopped playing and waiting on transfers, no fun on stalagg as alliance. But that’s my fault I guess I should of predicted the future lmao. don’t care to re level another character at all so I don’t mind waiting but I feel for others that want to keep playing. For me its meh

At the very least, a paid appearance respec. I had to shelf my 33 Priest over a hairstyle choice that started to annoy me to no end.
Blizzard is probably waiting for realms to get stable (tourists leaving and free xfers) before opening the paid transfers or maybe some other option.
I would say 2 more weeks or so before we hear from them.
I don’t see an issue as to why they wouldn’t? Let people play where they want and if they want to spend money that’s their choice
PvE --> PvERP is ok
But… you can’t xfer from any PvE --> PvP, including PvPRP
yes pve to pvp was a restriction but I think you could do the reverse which is fair since leveling on a pvp server is hard mode
I don’t know that I would call it “hard” mode. I would however, call it super obnoxiously irritating mode. Why anyone would put themselves through that is beyond me.
I did it once and that was more than enough.
Bring on paid transfers. I want to unite my two classic toons and maybe another one of my lower level alts. after lvl 25 I see it as worth paying 25$ for a transfer.

It’s obvious most never played during vanilla in this thread.
When transfers came out during vanilla, you could only transfer from PvP to another PvP server. You couldn’t go from PvP to PvE or vice versa from a PvE server. If they are sticking to making it as authentic as possible then the transfers won’t let you leave the PvP server that YOU decided to roll on - and knew the risks that came with it.

I think you could go from pvp to pve. I don’t care about that aspect since all my chars are on pve servers but I think it wasn’t a restriction. I could be wrong its been a while. I don’t think pve to pvp was out till cata
It’s not hard mode at all, you may get ganked here and there but you don’t lose XP/gear or anything like that. Most players avoid each other on PvP unless it is a gank squad or competition for resources.
