We had such a great turn out to our Pandaren Foodie Fundraiser event!
Thank you to all the lovely people who came to participate and watch our silliness. It seemed like everyone had a good time. Also, for those who donated to our cause, you are amazing. Thank you. Our staff can't wait to do another event soon. A Pandaren festival, perhaps???

Haha. We do. But we like to have 1-2 events per week. And since some of our members are daytime players and some nighttime, we usually have people around the restaurant pretty often. ;)

-On Mon, Oct 17 @ 8:30p in Ironforge and beyond -- Travelling Caravan event-- Om Nom Noodles will be joining a caravan of travelling merchant guilds heading out to several locations. We'll provide the food, of course. Come catch this travelling gypsy band of misfits. Eat, drink, and make merry!
-On Fri, Oct 21 @ 8:00p in Bradenbrook -- Dance of the Dead carnival -- There's a massive MG festival for both Alliance and Horde, & Om Nom is setting up a booth to sell noodles. There will be dueling, carnival booths, games, and good fun. Plus a trick or two from your favorite noodle merchants.
-On Mon, Oct 24 @ 8:00p in Lion's Rest Park, SW -- Hallow's End Market Bazaar -- Om Nom is co-hosting a market bazaar event for Hallow's End with several merchant guilds. Tomorrow, on Monday Oct 17 @ 8:30p realm time, The Tempest Born Company is co-hosting a Travelling Caravan Market event. The caravan will set out from Ironforge and make its way toward Aerie Peak, joined by Celestial Court merchant guild, Om Nom Noodles restaurant, and a few others.
We will be stopping at Theslamar, Greenwarden's Grove, and Refuge Point along the way.
Come catch this travelling gypsy band of misfits. Barter for some exotic goods and eat, drink, and make merry!

Last night, there was a disturbing incident at Om Nom Noodles restaurant...
During the night shift, while I was serving noodles and booze to the usual patrons, a male gnome came in. Barely glancing at the menu, he began asking for outrageous items...absurd things that we'd never have on menu.
I told him that, being proud of our heritage, our restaurant only serves Pandaren dishes. He became irate. The other patrons gawked as he berated the staff and threatened to report us for bad business practices. Then, he left.
Though not a hate crime, per se, it was disheartening. After the initial doubt, red tape, and mockery our little shop overcame to establish itself in Stormwind, incidents like this make us expats wonder if we'll ever be truly accepted.
But that was when things grew bizarre.
Ten minutes later, a masked woman came in. Had two bloody daggers and a tabard with a red flower. She said, "The Red Lotus Society took out the trash for you, miss. That gnome won't be bothering you fine Pandaren again. The Red Lotus is blooming." She set a gold origami lotus on the bar and said, "Madam Jun sends her regards." And left.
Outside, we found that gnome slashed up badly. He had a red origami lotus crammed in his mouth.
It made us wonder. Who is this 'Red Lotus Society'? This Madam Jun? They didn't seem to mean us harm, but...other people? Hard to say.

On Sat., November 19th @ 9:00p realm time, the Tempest Born Company is co-hosting a Travelling Caravan event...and Om Nom Noodles is feeding this merry band of gypsy misfits. Haha!
The caravan will set out from Lakeshire and make its way to Booty Bay. We'll be stopping at a few places along the way, with perhaps some surprises in store at each stop.
