It's a really weird feeling; it only seems like a couple months ago getting lost in Silithus and finding the closed AQ gates wondering what the hell it was.
Doesn't seem all that long ago being in WPL farming runecloth and bone fragments either. The competition from afk hunter bots and the occasional frost mage was pretty fierce too.
I've be playing off and on for over a decade now. The wife recently convinced me to get back in for Warlords, since Pandaria was such a disappointment. I have a few quibbles, but so far I'm having fun. I will say the department that does the cinematics has definitely upped their game, and budget. Nearly salivating waiting for Legion.
I'm still around. Took a hiatus during MoP and recently (last couple of months) came back, though I've been on my Warlock and DK alts more than anything.
For those who remember (and forgiveness if I don't remember everyone) and want to touch bases, my alts are:

If I go classic, I'm going High Warlord's get up. That's the only classic mog I have left. I only finished part of the Five Thunders before they removed :(
Also, the magma man look really works for shaman imo :D

Ouyang (Monk, PvP heals)
It's kind of fun not relying on 2-minute cooldowns to kill anyone, and hitting like a wet noodle at all other times.
Hey, does anyone remember the Pteswani story? It was pretty delicious drama from what little I recall.

Haha, yeah I'm still alive. I let my sub poof end of BC and have been following the game ever since but working on real life stuff. Career, bought a house, got married, working on kids now (fun fun!)
