CLEARLY my main is a level 50 mage with no gear.
Because there was no need. Assumed it would be toned down, and it was. Then we get the wave of people REEEEEing about an alpha change saying āeveryone agrees this is a bad changeā - so I need to provide a balance to that.
Thatās just a lie, you are making things up because you donāt have a better argument than āreeeeeee things changed in Alpha and I donāt like itā. Never once have I said anything about mages being devalued. You are a liar.
No - I support the change because being the only race able to zip around at that speed in ridiculous, let alone when combined with all their other racials it makes the whole package way too OP for a bunch of racials. Thatās the simple truth - it isnāt some grand trolling conspiracy. Certain people just canāt handle someone having a different opinion to them and can only resort to calling them trolls, or just making up lies.
Itās a change to an ability in early alpha. There will be many, many changes before the game goes live. The ability is still far faster than what any other race can achieve. Youāre perfectly entitled to express your opinion about it, but stop attacking people who agree with the change and calling them trolls. Itās just immature and unhelpful.
Because this mage was levelled solely for the heritage armour. Even the briefest of glances could tell it was abandoned as soon as it hit 50.

When the Zandalari trolls were first introduced there was a huge forum rage party that resulted in their abilities getting nerfed. One of the specific changes was adding in the ādonāt get hitā effect. They were much much stronger on beta.
Thatās actually not that strong yet. Mechagnomes have a strong primary stat buff than what Pandaren get for eating food. I am sure that if it becomes to powerful in Dragon Flight then it will be noted on the forums.

yep if they gave everyone the new flying, 100% no one would care about the new race flying. But i just think people want to feel better than others for playing a specific race because of broken racials.

Yes, and thatās because they were legitimately OP, but weāre not talking about their Alpha/Beta stage, weāre talking about their release and the current state of Zandalari Trolls. You made the argument that;
So if you still stand by this, then you would have to agree that currently Zandalari Trolls and Pandaren are the two most broken races in the game right now and they need to be nerfed because they have too many racials, for your logic to be consistent.
The difference is that Mechagnome needs to build up to that stat bonus, Pandaren do not. Primary stat scaling is very front-loaded, and although itās a great numbers increase, it doesnāt necessitate that itās always better than secondary stats. If this were the case, then weād still be using trinkets and rings that always have primary stats on them, the same logic applies here.
Thatās fine, you donāt have to care about Soar, Iām not telling you to care about it, but that was the main discussion point. Both my original post, and the OPās post was about Soar specifically.
My argument about their racials is a simple one; we donāt have conclusive data to determine how strong their racials actually are, but based off the numbers we have now, and based off of what we can see now, their racials do not seem that strong on paper. We cannot call for nerfs on in-combat racials that we donāt know how it will perform. All we have is very basic footage that gives us a rough idea on how it works with little testing. This entirely can change when the simulationcraft boys get access to the beta and can run sims based off of their current numbers in a more complete state, but as of right now, no, we cannot make any conclusive judgements and call for nerfs off of numbers on paper, when those numbers are not significant in any capacity.

it is just a flavor ability. if you want to fly faster just use your dragon.
soar is already faster than the fastest flight speed you can train
you canāt use your dragon outside the Dragon Isles.
