Please rethink the soar nerf

There’s no reason at all to maintain a cooldown of 5 minutes for a nerfed ability. Worgen don’t have to wait 5 minutes to use their Running Wild ability. Druids don’t have to wait 5 minutes to use their instant cast Flying form ability. Mages don’t have to wait 5 minutes to use their teleport/portal spells.

3. Allow Dragon Riding in all areas regular flying is allowed to give Non-Dracthyr the same options as Dracthyr.

When are you going to stop being arrogant SoB’s and admit you are wrong? I think the racial should not be as good as the actual mount. Dragons that are trained and bred to fly should always be stronger and faster at just the flying aspect of flying than these caster dragons created by death wing. Im in favor of the nerfs.

Been a big supporter of Blizzard and defender. However, their explanation of the Soar changes is weak. I have seen so many videos of people absolutely squealing from fun using soar on you tube.

This feels almost vindictive. Oh you’re having too much fun, we can’t have that.

You look at my posts you’ll see I’m generally 100 percent behind Blizzard. But this time, I think they are making a big mistake. If nothing else, they should just consider making dragonriding available everywhere that Soar is, to remove the perceived “advantage”.

I think you forget that 930% movement speed as a racial movement ability is inherently overpowered, imagine abusing it so you can finish the content faster so you can resume complaining about having nothing to do.

Because let’s face it the big reason why people are complaining about the nerf is because they can’t complete content faster.

We don’t get nice quality things because people finish things too fast.

TLDR: SPEED = BAD = TRASH CONTENT THAT MAKES ADULTS WITH DUST SIZED BRAINS CRY BECAUSE CONTENT IS TRASH

Its exactly what they did with the Shadowlands Alpha. Torghast was so much fun in testing, people loved it but slowly Blizzard tweaked and nerfed and added and now we have a mess that people will do anything to avoid. Thats whats happening to Dragonriding in Dragonflight, by the time it launches itll be so hated that we’ll all just be begging for Pathfinder to come back and give us the same boring flight mechanic from 20 years ago.

Yeah, the people with common sense that understand how ridiculous the current Drakthyr racial power lineup is.

Soar has zero impact on actual power. It’s entirely racial flavor and fun with zero material impact on performance ESPECIALLY if Blizz just enables dragon riding everywhere which is what we all want.
