That’s the plan, working well
This is a really poor argument. The survival of a server and an MMO hinges on long-term viability, not a two-month peak and then flatline.
It’s cute that you think Blizzard reads or cares about these threads. I’m sure those OCE-US battlegroup threads, the Dual Spec for TBCC threads, the RDF threads, the anti-boost threads - which have all existed much longer than your flavour of the day - are just days away from a formal committment from Blizzard to reverse their policy.
unfortunately OCE players can hardly fill the servers they have now so the likelihood of getting a 3rd server just for OCE is slim
It’s cute that you think Blizzard reads or cares about these threads
I mean if they don’t then you’re wasting your time even more than we are - seems like a sad but cute existence you have coming on here and arguing for the sake of arguing.
I’m actually here for genuine debate. If you weren’t so blind with self-righteousness you’d have seen my post:
But again, it’s cute seeing a keyboard warrior such as yourself declaring with zero self awarness that your pet project is totally different.
Then it merges are transfers , let people want to have their enjoyment lol
If we could trust Blizzard to merge servers early, I’d agree. Up until now they’ve seemed content to let dying servers whither on the vine and soak up paid transfers, which leads (understandably) to people quitting.
Which is fine, those same people would otherwise not play at all without OCE fresh
I’m skeptical that there are really that many players who would not play Classic in 2022 unless it is Fresh Oceanic.
I don’t know what the actual numbers would be either, but I know I’m one of those people.
The announcement of fresh servers was what grabbed my attention and got me interested in coming back after skipping TBCC.

Still haven’t seen a remotely logical point from you yet.
Look, more power to you guys. If you have your way I’ll give Oceanic Fresh a genuine chance. I’m just not optimistic about it’s viability.
Being pessimistic about the viability of something yet you can’t actually give a good reason as to why besides random hypotheticals - it’s not the slightest bit constructive in any way, shape or form.
Unless you can give some concrete evidence to suggest why Oceanic Fresh would perform better than Oceanic SOM
I’ve read your previous posts, you go around asking for concrete evidence when literally all you’ve been doing is making false comparisons and random hypotheticals as to what’s going to happen pre and post wotlk launch.
If you can give just ONE solid point grounded in indisputable evidence as to why a fresh server won’t work and/or is a horrible idea then I’ll eat my words and be on my merry way.
I hope so. I’d be thrilled to see thousands of new OCE players join for Wrath Classic, and would be very content to eat my hat if it happens.
So many people here acting like they know how many people are interested or keen for fresh servers. The truth is we don’t know. That being said, my friends and I were all really looking forward to a fresh start on a new Oceanic server.
Why not at least see if there is enough interest by trying, Blizzard?
Guess we gotta wait til Monday morning in the US to find out!
Where is the Beta server located? Looking at the server time it appears to be West Coast USA… Been on there? Its LAGGY AF…
Guess that’s what we probably have to look forward to even if we get a US west coast server for the US based fresh servers… if we don’t get a local server I guess we can all roll warlocks or resto druids and keep them dots/hots up?
BUMP, we need this!
Praying for some good news overnight
GimmeGimmeGimme OMNOM
Fresh is just click bait. It will be the exact same as progression within 2 months.
I have, but I haven’t seen one from you.
