Well considering it’s almost 3pm Friday in California, if blizzard responds in any way, it wouldn’t be until next week at least.
RIGITITY RIVITY REVERT IT
Ye thanks
Then they can quickly ignore it to focus on day 1 TBC downtime and server crashes and try slide the issue here and on reddit. Odds are knowing Blizzard it will 100% get ignored because if it’s one thing I think everyone knows by now, they do not care about their customers or the quality of their customers gaming experiences at all.
100% ninja patch because clusters are roughly 22% cheaper in NA.
Do we atleast get to see some pictures of Bobbies new Yacht?
Just incase the general vibe of how players are feeling hasn’t been captured just yet, I’d also like to voice my frustration and disappointment in this decision.
My primary interest in playing TBC Classic was for arena and the fact that, with oceanic servers, I would finally be able to enjoy that element of the game without a ridiculously high latency.
I’ve played since vanilla and I played arena in TBC and endured the lag, at the time there was no other option. Now there is and you’ve taken it away without warning and for lacklustre reasons at best. The concept of reducing queue times and increasing the available player pool at the cost of destroying the fundamental mechanics of the game is ridiculous and will ultimately serve no other purpose than to ruin PvP in the expansion.
Please listen to the community, reverse this decision. I like many others have cancelled my subscription based on this change and am thankful that I hadn’t paid for any other services leading up to launch.
Not only is it 250-300+ MS.
its also a rubber band fest with characters running about at super speed / blipping across the map.
This is actually far worse then the 160 MS i used to play on in original TBC
The best part is when you’re running through AV… everyone stops moving and then 5s later everyone is moving at 500 ms/s and you’re dead.
Nice
But please tell me how its my internet connection after having no latency problems since release of classic
yeah it’s hard to notice when ur brains already run at 250ms
It’s been mentioned here lots. You didn’t even try see how it went, you flicked the switch then just said “oh we did this” affecting thousands of players. Nobody can comment how our ladder would look, especially the Americans thinking we would have an easier glad. You have the power to inflate and change the ladder like retail so it’s within your power to change and adjust rating gain.
This was a breath of fresh air for retail players. I feel for rogues, melee trying to do complicated things like reckful could is just out of the question with the ping.
I didn’t mind the queues for BG’s, I like seeing players I know. Awful change and the same story of no thought and no communication to players.
Bad choice after bad choice with this xpac.
Shame we can’t identify a problem with the Dev Team and patch a new team in huh
whoever was responsible for this decision/suggestion to change tbc for oceanic players needs to be at the least removed from any position where they have the ability to make impactful decisions within the company for the game and potentially even demoted, this is the single worst change made to classic since the launch of classic and absolutely destroys any semblance of oceanic pvp competitive or casual.
REVERT IT NOW!
I would so much rather have longer queue times then this MS/Lag.
Please revert this, you going push away so many players that love this game and ruin something that was going to be quite special for a lot of us.
This is a really key point here. It feels like if they can hold the line until TBC release they feel that this will all die down as we will all be focused on something else.
Hopefully everyone continues to pass on their feedback to ensure that Activision realises the cost of losing all these subs is going to outweigh whatever profit they made this decision for.
Not until you pay 99.99 USD for the Yacht Edition.
We demand names! Who done this to us! This is now a witch hunt! Sack them! Sack them! Burn them! Err I mean, sack them!
I can’t believe this still hasn’t been reverted or addressed yet
Even Scomo wouldn’t twist [cutting server costs] into “Better PvP” lmao. SHAMELESS
Really simple solution;
50% of the time OCE plays on US servers;
other 50% of the time US plays on OCE servers.
100% fair.
That way we all experience the exciting challenge of higher pings while enjoying the benefits of a merged battlegroup!
edit: /s
hell no, that is a beyond terrible suggestion… REVERT THE CHANGE IN FULL!
let’s be honest here. the only people backing this change are people that don’t play within the higher brackets of pvp n are generally the same people that try to compare this change to how things are in retail. imagine the uproar if every week blizzard rolled the dice on your raid ID’s n either made them 150ms or 10ms for absolutely no reason what so ever. the competitive nature of speed runs would be completely over, so why is this any different? i’m starting to feel like the dingo really did eat my baby
