Oceanic Realms Broken - Merged with US Battlegroup (Lag)

They can’t hide behind their FAQs fact is they’re breaking the law

They don’t care. At all. The people you’re talking to are either an automated reply or low paid workers in some overseas call centre. Their job isn’t to help customers, it’s to close tickets.

First time posting here, been playing since vanilla wow release. BGs are on level of dialup internet this is horrible especially for daytime US players getting stuck in every BG with 200+ms

Ahh, I remember it like it was yesterday, people calling you a blizzard boot licker over you pointing out to a retard the definition of the word plenty.

I wonder if they’ll acknowledge you today?

Exactly what sent to them

Blizzard staff are clearly providing advice within the lines of US law, without consideration of the province in which purchases are made and the laws which govern those purchases.

You have every right to seek formal legal advice and engage in corrective action.

This is about the only accurate thing you posted in that whole wall of text.

Revert this please.

I apologize for the wall of text, but I’m sharing information that I’ve read in attempt to help someone. Could you elaborate further to help Ðarklock?

Unsubbed and asking for a refund. Thanks for two years of classic blizzard I really enjoyed my self. TBC would have been cool

may be you need to contact ur credit card company. If it’s not working lawyer is ur last hope but it cost more than what u bought lol

WHERE BLUE?

At a guess…some CCIE there said man they will never ever know. Trust me, I am a CCIE.

Been doing IT a bit. it never works out like this. Users know…Damn CCIE’s never answer help desk. They break crap…they should deal with phone call number 57 in less than an hour.

Especially when it has classic on the same US routes retail is now for pvp. Retail to US is not really…good. Imo.

See here is why I went US servers from OCE. Even paid for transfers over time. an almost monthly OCE event is the connection going to crap. This time it was bad. Shot up to 450+.

So bored, and going you know I never saw MG goldshire inn said its test time. Rolled a new char quick, rushed out of SW and straight to the inn.

After the initial oh my…it was look at ping. 150. 50+erp’ers inside, several alliance duelers outside and horde and alliance mini battles in the back yard. A busy section of the node basically. 150.

I hop on oce server cael. take one of my alliance chars to its goldshire inn. Literally jsut me and the NPC’s as not another player in sight. 450…

If they are piggy backing off the same route as retail…this is not going to be good. Not good at all.

If blizzard deny our refunds, can we go straight to the ACCC without a lawyer? they have a complaints procedure don’t they?

We will not stand for this. OCE is united. If we have to, we will build a wall between our servers and thiers, and make the US battlegroup pay for it!

Correct, I’ve used that process to get refunds from Sony and Telstra when they were being stubborn, usually as soon as the ACCC or your state consumer affairs gets involved they fold easily.

We are approaching almost 24 hours with unplayable latency.

Funnily enough, we are also approaching approximately 24 hours since I’ve unsubbed.

Bump. Please revert this change.

Grace period for queuing spells is gone. Can’t vanish casts. Shadowstep sap isn’t reliable on 100% mounted targets that are moving. It’s a joke.

Can confirm.

Contacted the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (TIO) maybe a decade ago when Vodafone were being completely unreasonable with a ridiculous bill and dismissing all of my requests.

TIO hit them up, and I received a call back and apology from upper Vodafone management like a week later.
