NVidia GeForce LAN Mount

Hi,

I have been playing several hours with the NVidia app but I don’t get to mount redeem code. Any fix for this ?

Do you have an official link to this promotion – particularly, the requirements and eligibility? It’s likely the information you need is there.

Generally speaking, partner promotions are tracked by, and managed by the partner – Blizzard doesn’t (for example) track whether you’re viewing any particular Twitch stream or, in this case, running any particular Nvidia software.

I don’t have anything more to add than the link to the promotion.

According to various Reddit posts, it looks like the mount might be “sold” out very quickly so not sure if it’s possible to receive it still.

This is also all I have.
But I don’t get the redeem code even when closing and reopening the app

Did you restart the GeForce app after you played for 50mins? According to the page that’s needed to get your reward.

Edit to add: It can also take into 2hrs for the code to appear, if there’s any left.

I see posts on Reddit where some are reporting mount codes ran out. Not sure, better check the page of the event.

Am I guaranteed a reward if I meet all of the qualifications and requirements?

Rewards are available on a first come first served basis and not guaranteed for all.

Nvidia may had underestimated demand if that’s the case – Blizzard would need to make available to Nvidia a fresh batch.

Side note Hilkarus, are you completely exiting and restarting the Launcher? A lot of software doesn’t actually exit if you just click the X.

Five minutes ago I claimed the code from Nvidia, I entered the code through the Battle Net website, but it tells me that it cannot be claimed because the code is from a different region than mine. I am from Peru and according to Nvidia’s rules I should be able to claim it without any problems, so I assume the problem is Blizzard.

I heard there may be a few issues with that, Andreev. Last I heard, they were working on it. Wouldn’t hurt to put in a ticket but a GM may not be able to directly assist.

I am experiencing the same issue. I tried yesterday on two occasions. One session for 50+ continuous minutes using the blizzard launcher at 4:45 PM PST with the nvidia app open and logged in. I met all the requirements for country and graphics card. Did not receive a reward after two hours and restarting the app. I tried a second time for 50+ minutes using the nvidia app ‘play’ button for WoW and it the result was the same.

I reached out to Nivida support via their chat agent option and opened a ticket. I got the same response that the rewards were not guaranteed. So I asked if ALL rewards were claimed within the first 50 minutes of a day event and got a copy/paste response. The agent was as helpful as they could be and took my info, requested screenshots and expedited the ticket but I suspect I will receive a response after the event and they will just say “the promotion period has ended, sorry”.

I doubt Blizzard will be able to assist as I ran into a similar issue in 2023 when requesting the same mount for missing the promotion for Twitch Prime by a couple days and was advised the third party was responsible for the reward.

It just popped up for me, but not only did I have to press the x in the corner of the Nvidia app, but I also had to right click → exit on the nvidia system tray icon.

Same issue, played for hours double checked my account, the app, email everything. Restarted everything, played more hours, still nothing :confused: so disappointing

So i just need to have the NVIDIA app open and just play 50 mins for this to work or…?

Idk the instructions are kinda vague, cause i cant really track the missions at all.

should be but this thing is clearly broken, they have gated the reward an have it so only players that can logon and play anytime they want can get it it seems. Myself I have a job and a life and cannot just not work and logon right when events start and now most likely wont get the “free” mount. I have been online for over 2 hours and still no redeem code. Blizzards needs to fix problems like this. If a reward is going to be given to players than all players should be able to obtain it and not have a “first come first serve”. They should know by now after 20 years with the game that its not cool to cater to the streamers/players that play games for a living, yet they still do. As a long time player/been playing for the full 20 years it a slap in the face to be like “oh you have a life and a family and cant play 24/7, no mount for you” I really hope it gets fixed

i submitted a bug report as well. I have never had the best luck getting a reply with the bug reports though. Usually takes a very long time and by than I bet I will get a reply stating that its to late to correct the issue.

You wont bug reports are a one way street unless they need more info.

Well, the bug report forum is for putting in bugs for QA to look into, it isn’t a means to talk to anyone. THey’d only reply if they need more info.

Moreover this is either a logistics issue (the numbers weren’t correct, e.g. not enough codes were generated per early in-thread discussion) or an issue with Nvidia’s software (Blizzard isn’t tracking whether you’re logged into and running Nvidia’s app).

Hopefully it gets sorted, though I don’t think a WoW Bug Report is actually the correct course of action presently.

that’s fair, tbh I don’t know where there a place to put in a proper work ticket to a GM anymore.
